They fucked up trying to make that online game as a sequel instead of just making a damn sequel. Loved Sleepy Dogs. Need to get the PS4 version. It’s been long enough to be worth the replay.
Bruh they added the video 3 years ago and the description says it’s releasing next year(2018.)
Shit’s vaporware fam lol
I just beat Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune and loved it. I can definitely tell where people say it’s dated. Combat was a little wonky at times and I wish there was some semblance of character progression, but for a 13 year old game it was still super enjoyable. I’m going to continue the series.
Now onto Uncharted 2. Huzzah!
Ah, UC2…where the Waifu Wars begin anew.
You know, one of the biggest tragedies to hit gaming is the fact that FF IX sold less than XII, XIII, and XV.
Uh…not really? Even if you consider FFIX the pinnacle of the franchise, Square knew at the time what was going to happen. It came out not only at the end of the PS1’s Life Cycle, but 4 months AFTER the PS2 had already dropped. Yes, the PS2 was backwards compatible but not a ton of people were looking to buy a new PS1 game at that point.
It was basically intentional anyway. Without the pressure of having to be a massive success like the previous couple FFs and FFX that was coming out a year later FFIX could focus on being about the true essence of a JRPG and the creator’s vision rather than something that had to appeal to the masses.
And it’s still a tragedy because it’s better than all three of those others combined.
A tragedy implies it’s an unfair fate. I’m sorry, but if you intentionally release a game onto a console 4 months after said console’s successor has released, it’s gonna not sell well its quality be damned.
How about instead of being pissed that FFIX didn’t sell as well as those “false idol” FF games, appreciate the fact that FFIX got to be as good as it was specifically because it didn’t need to sell shit for copies. It could just exist as a game meant to be of the highest quality of substance, without having to live up to any sales expectations or be brought to the lowest common denominator.
That’s implying a lot behind the development of the game that I hadn’t read anywhere else.
Also, the game sold quite well, it just didn’t sell as well as its inferior successors. Its quality, regardless of its developmental circumstances, deserves better recognition.
As an aside, who’s pissed? The term “tragedy” implies sadness or sorrow, not anger. Pissed would be “It’s an outrage that FF IX didn’t sell more than XII, XIII, and XV.”
XI was the last truly great FF game imo.
“Ooo, soft…”
real Goku and Bulma moment right there
I geninuely wonder if the devs were looking at Dragon Ball for inspiration when coming up with Zidane’s design
I haven’t even played any Uncharted game, but yeah Chloe is Legendary hotness. Few others are even close to that level.
More Diablo rambling as usual— now I’ve gotten back into playing a necromancer again… definitely leaning towards this for the new season (starts Friday). Corpse Explosion and other things have been buffed quite a bit.
…It was always odd to me that some would consider D3 to be too simplistic, when there’s actually a lot that goes into any given build, at least if you’re “seriously” playing the game. --whether to wear set items or not (since Legacy of Dreams is a thing), which legendary gems to go with and level up, paragon point distribution, the synergy of your items, abilities+rune choices and passives, regular gems, and whatever seasonal bonus happens to be in play, your Kannai-cube legendary power choices, whether or not to go with certain items that grant immunity to certain status effects, etc.
…would’ve been nice if they kept last season’s special bonus; they had it so Kannai’s Cube let you “cube” any combination of legendary powers, not just “weapon/armor/jewelry”…you could go weaponx3 or armorx3 or whatever wacky combo you want. This created so many more delicious build possibilities.
total playtime on XB1 version, btw = about 886 hours. I’m surprised it’s that “low”, actually. ah, it also tracks certain other stats; apparently I’ve killed a bit over 1 million monsters, and made 4 billion gold.
Chloe’s design changing from game to game was possibly the weirdest thing I’ve experienced while playing through the series, she looks like a completely different person each time she appears
Team Elena. She’s ride or die. Chole is a coward who’s best value is being a side piece.
On the last level of SoR4. Final boss coming in with the real cheapness. Every other boss has been tough at times, but always fair. This dude is some booty.
