I don’t think there are any gays so you should be good.
Lol what?
Yeah that’s what I’m starting with.
People mad about the gays in ND’s other big hit right now.
I’m just giving an example, or would you rather have me note how a lot of reddit peeps straight up said they didn’t care about the gameplay of TLOU1, only the story.
Huh? What game is that?
Edit: Oh shit! TLOU is made by the same company as Uncharted!
I don’t really care about TLOU1 right now we were discussing TLOU2.
Bro you acting like people here came straight outta 4chan, come on, we got a bit more sense than that.
I agree. I think 2 was the pinnacle of Uncharted.
I actually got bored with part 4 and ended up just not finishing it and was on like chapter 17 or 18. I think I heard it has 21 chapters too.
I didn’t play the game. I watched a collection of cutscenes and the story relevant gameplay. TLoU is the type of game where the actual game isn’t what I’m interested in. It’s why I watch playthroughs and the “movies” comps that pop up on youtube. I would have brought it if I liked what I saw but that didn’t happen.
Yep I will never get that. If I had experienced some of these parts of the game knowing what was going to happen after watching a video of it, it simply would not have close to the same impact.
Serious question - do you read movie spoilers too before you decide if you want to watch a movie or not? Because that’s another thing I don’t get.
Not just talking about here.
I do depending on the movie. For movies that I’m interested in but on the fence about I’ll look at spoilers. For some movies getting spoiled on them is what got me interested in them in the first place like Cabin in the Woods. In cases like that my interest is seeing how it plays out.
Yeah see that is just something I can’t comprehend and will never understand. There is a huge difference to me when I see something for the first time and get to experience that first time moment, versus knowing what happens.
I still remember watching The Matrix in the theater for the first time and wishing I could watch that movie again without knowing what happens. It’s just incredible to see things like that for the first time not knowing anything about it.
That is the feeling I got with TLOU2. I had jaw drop moments and cringe moments throughout.
Spoilers are why I see movies I didn’t care about from time-to-time too. But I tend to stay clear if I had interest in the first place.
You probably didn’t see the leaks, so I’ll try and give a bit of insight.
Naturally, most of the internet just went into an uproar over what they’ve read, and while the leaks weren’t exactly accurate, especially regarding Abby’s section, which pretty much no one had info on other than “it exists”, you gotta consider the following.
You know events X, Y and Z are going to happen. You don’t know when and how. These events are very controversial.
A lot of the buzz could be summed by: “How the fuck are they going to make this work?”
So basically people are mad because they jumped to conclusions without having the full picture.
Makes complete sense for the internet to be in an uproar about that lol.
This is pretty much exactly what I said. Doesn’t change the fact both are Batshit fucking insane.
There are tons of stories for Batman that don’t feature Joker at so so…calling total bullshit. You’re as creatively bankrupt as most Batman writers.
I find hilarious how you keep dismissing the reality that this game is not well received.
Yes it sold well, but that is because the previous entry and good faith that ND gathered over the years.
That was never in doubt.
But as more and more people played it, it turns out the majority have serious problems with the story.
You liked it, and that is good for you, but you cant try to deny reality because of that.
Plenty of stores are now refusing to accept tlou2 copies that players are trying to refund, and there also a lot of them flooding places like ebay because people want to get rid of the damn thing.
Is not a vocal minority.
I guess that all my friends who bought it and hate it are just imaginary
The same for all that bought it and tryied to return their copies at my friends game store
Man, for someone who claims to be logical, you surely love to use logical falacies and miscaracterization to talk about what you disagree without actually adressing the real points and problems people have with the game, lmao.
