it’s a shame a lot of people probably missed out on the Green Lantern series that was on CN several years ago… it was during that time —I think 2011 when they also had Young Justice and that good new Thundercats show…and it was all part of an “action block” they had going at the time…but as usual, CN would eventually fuck it all up…we should’ve known to never have faith in that shit excuse for a network ever doing things right for an extended period of time…but yeah, that Green Lantern show was way better than I thought it would be.
I’ve been watching Gears videos from this dude lately… and I noticed he has all the scenes from Gears Tactics uploaded:
…I look forward to seeing the rest of this–quite a convenient thing…now I can just watch the story here without suffering through that horribly off-putting “tactics” style gameplay.
this also reminds me they have such a great lineup of characters in this series to add at this point… I just remembered Sgt. Hoffman; as well…would be nice to play as him again in part 5’s Horde mode and just regular vs. stuff…Dizzy, Sam, and as I mentioned earlier, Aaron “Ice-T!” Griffin, the list goes on and on.
I’m quoting this because I’m genuinely upset that I forgot I recently beat the Links Awakening remake. And I didn’t forget it because it was a bad remake. For better or for worse it was essentially a 1:1 remake. Which is exactly what I wanted. I 100%ed that game too
I’ve just been having a lot of shit going on lately I simply forgot.
I’m back to playing DQXI though. I had to unplug from it a bit. I had basically been playing it for 2 weeks straight. So I read some comics and binged a few shows. But now I’m back to it.
I’m at the Trials before the final final boss*. I know I’m not going to 100% this. Cause there’s some things I don’t really give a shit about like the various glossaries you can fill out.
I don’t know what I’m going to play next. I mentioned Octopath Traveler when Chad mentioned it. However I’m thinking of maybe starting a fresh file on Marvel UA3 or going back to XBC Definitive. Not sure.
*the switch version (well, now the universal definitive edition) has some stuff you can do post post-game
I downloaded Horizon yesterday. I asked folk about it cause you know, it looks like a game I’ll get bored with fast. Now I see that the pc version is crappy. I dun think im gonna like it. Still gonna check it out. I didnt watch that video so I dunno why the pc port isnt so great.
All that shit about streamers maybe not liking what they do and all I can think of is another person words from here - “If they don’t like it they can find another job.”.
From what I’ve seen of The Avengers beta footage so far, Black Widow seems to be the most fun to play. She gets cool ass animations, smooth melee to ranged and vice versa switching, an array of hand-to-hand attacks with tonfas, arms and legs, she gets divekicks, and upon activating her “ultimate” - her tonfas turn into a bo staff.
Other heroes don’t feel as cool, though obviously I’ll have to try the beta myself next week.
Cap isn’t available but I do hope he’ll have lots of shield ricochet/boomerang shenanigans, some of which could’ve been seen in the A-Day prologue
This game looks really cool, like a futuristic Streets of Rage in another planet, but apparently something happened and the company fired all the developers?
Sony aren’t the ones to blame. The majority shareholders and current CEO of Linestone Games (the dev company) are to blame. The devs were working on this as a sort of passion project, the company’s majority shareholders sold the company to a guy in Estonia completely under the original founder’s (and employees’) noses. Now that Estonian guy has taken over as CEO and is a complete scumbag.
I actually caught a handful of episodes before they axed the Green Lantern show, despite the CG visuals it was very good. I vaguely remember some of the DCAU people were working on it as well and it showed.
Hal just doesn’t normally move the needle with me, except with that New Frontier series they did and the animated series.
FINALLY FINALLY knocked out Shinobi…on Normal. Fun game. It was fun going back and now I got a new favorite. I think relying on R1 too much had me take more damage aginst ogres. I thought I’d back dash, but it dashed behind it and I would still get hit since it’s an AOE attack…
Already went back and improved my time on earlier levels.
Knocked out AZS Gunvolt 2. Copen is a blast. Looking forward to grabbing LA iX sometime in the future.
