…a Suicide Squad game? sheeeeittt they can get all the way outta here with that. That’s another thing I’m out of the loop on in terms of what the appeal is… that shit always seemed lame and uninteresting to me. It’s impossible for that to ever be good, imo. The only point of interest there ever was for me in that shit is Harley Quinn’s fine ass being involved.

GEARS 5 - “free boost” weekend is in effect at the moment; forgot if I already mentioned that…so it’s boosted exp on everything in the game right now. I got quite a bit of exp off a Horde session last night that was merely on “Experienced” or “Advanced” difficulty…leveled up Mac a bit to 10 or 11.
the difficulties in Gears now— I’m not sure why they changed the name on some of them. It’s odd because I tend to forget what’s what. The only classic difficulty people remember that’s still around is “Insane”, though it’s no longer the top rank difficulty. Heh, I do like the name “Inconceivable” as a difficulty though.

I mean they have no legit point. A retro console filled with games no one wants to play because the good stuff either has superior ports on other platforms or owned by other more successful companies? Or a low rent PC with a retro console emulator?
The niche they are aiming at is small and the ammo/games they are using ain’t got fire power to pierce a napkin.

Also they are going for the same demographic that ended up hurting Nintendo for the Wii/ Wii U.
Groups who only going to buy this are never going to buy extra controllers or games. They are going to play it a half dozen times in maybe the span of 6 months then box 
it way, and put in the closet
What’s not to like about a black op team of supervillains being forced to do suicide missions because they are expendable. The concept is ripe for espionage and stealth action with a cast you can rotate because death is expected.

What platform is that Avengers demo on? I think my son would like watching me play it even if I don’t care about the game.
The beta is on PS4. It’s available right now for people who pre-ordered. PS4 will have an open beta on the 14th. The 14th is also when the closed beta starts for other platforms.

PS4 has the closed beta going right now.
Everyone else gets the current beta on the 14th, but PS4 gets an open access version.
Then 21st all platforms get an open access beta.
