Gears - up to “Major” rank now in the Tour…also had some surprisingly nice moments in Team Deathmatch yesterday where I was slightly decent against real people for a change. 
More-or-less, yes. I have several friends back home who have done several successful kickstarters for lines of plush, makeup, graphic novels, etc.
But back to my previous point from yesterday. Niche, nostalgia, etc doesn’t always sell. For every one Kickstarter that relies and those and succeed there’s countless that fail. So it’s not always a sure thing.
What nostalgia projects with the name recognition Suikoden has have failed on Kickstarter? As niche as Suikoden can be there are also 6 titles in the series. It did pretty well for such a “niche” series. Konami made 6 of them.
Best thing about Tara is she’s even cuter in person. I got to meet her at a comic-con back home in Washington in like 2012. Suuuuuuper nice. Super funny. Super cute. Got to meet her, John DiMaggio, George Takei, Robert Kirkman and Phil Lamar that year. Shit was awesome.

Haha. John and Tara were my favorites to meet. Tara freaked when I had her sign my lollipop chainsaw prop as she had no idea it even existed. Like, she legit screamed in excitement. Lol
When I met John I border line ranted to him how much I loved Wakka from FFX cause he gave a character everyone thought would be an airhead so much depth and really showed how conflicted he was with everything around that was happening. He was like “that’s the nicest thing anyone has ever said about Wakka” and he gave me the hardest and most slappiest high five ever.
I didn’t get to talk to Phil Lamar or George Takei much. We talked but I could Also tell they were super busy. So we just got a quick photo with them and we talked while we were setting everything up.
So I got around to playing Control.
I loved the story, atmosphere and powers. Fuckkkk I really liked this game on every level.
I want more games with these types of powers and play style. Already feel like I’m going through withdrawal and I beat it on the hardest difficulty. Hnng

If you go into it expecting a Yakuza game you are going to be extremely disappointed. Shenmue is not Yakuza.
Think that’s where a lot of people fucked up with Shenmue 3. They went in expecting a modern game and it wasn’t ever going to be a modern game. It was going to be Shenmue, highs and lows and all.
Yeah Im not expecting it to, but at the same time, I feel like i will be biased towards it in a negative sense no matter what.
