Got the last copy of Ghost of Tsushima at Gamestop today. Game is great so far. Had to walk away tonight when I kept getting my ass handed to me at a mongol camp though.
And also, I started playing Warzone. Did they make Modern Warfareās multiplayer raw unfiltered ass on purpose so that Warzone would feel that much better? If I didnāt know better I would SWEAR they did that. Warzone aināt the best thing in the world, but compared to MWās multi right now itās like fine art.

It was me and I already did. The only reason I thought it wasnāt going to make it was because I hadnāt realized the Kickstarter had only started that day (yesterday). I thought it had been going for a while. Which I said almost immediately after I said it wouldnāt.
Suikoden is still niche though.

Can we all just agree that outside of Killer Instinct OST, this is one of the greatest arcade tracks of all time? At :20 that shit is fire and burns the whole way through.
I really hope they do better than they did with that on EGS. The release was a clusterfuck.
Nice to see this game finally getting a actual console release.

Not sure why Suikoden being niche made you think it wouldnāt reach goal tho. Shenmue was niche as fuck and most people never liked the series anyway (the reviews and recent comments on 3 prove that beyond a doubt as they are literal retreads of the thoughts most had for 1&2) and it still made record goals.

Iāve said three times already why I didnāt think it was going to. But Iāll say it again, I guess.
I thought the Kickstarter campaign had already been going on for a while and itās pledge amount wasnāt very high at the time of me checking. Which was under 30k/500k.
I didnāt realize it had started that day (yesterday) when I mentioned I didnāt think it would make its funding goal.
Yea I know. Im commenting specifically on the it being niche part, not the you misunderstanding it had only just started part. I get that Stu. Iām just confused on the niche part since a big reason people go to Kickstarter is their project is niche and wonāt be supported by a publisher so they ask for public funding instead. Suikoden being niche was a big part of your argument, thatās by I am commenting on that part. Being niche is part of the point.

The answer is on in the same. Despite it being a beloved series itās still a very niche franchise. A lot of people have heard of it but few have played it. So I didnāt think itād make its funding. Plus what I had already previously mentioned.
Also, I donāt know if it comes across this way, but Iāll clarify. I have no issues with Suikoden as a series. Iāve always heard theyāre marvelous titles by many Iāve talked RPGās with. I have 1 and 2 on PSN but Iāve never played them.
So maybe cause of that Iāve never understood the true appeal? I donāt know.
Right but thats basically the point of kickstarter, no? To fund really niche projects that a big publisher wonāt. Being niche but with a reputation like Suikoden has is pretty much exactly what the platform is best for dont think?
And yea no I didnāt get any impression you had an opinion on Suikoden for or against based on your posts. No worries there.
I own Suikoden 1 physical and Suikoden 2 digital. I also have played neither of them.
