Brie must be a fan because I remember her asking the same damn thing before Captain Marvel dropped. Would be fine with as an actress but a Metroid film is probably one of the harder IP to adapt. Heaven help them if they take direction from some of the folk at Nintendo of Japan as to what makes the character work.

A Metroid movie can work if cues are taken from films like Sunshine where space isolation is a major element of the film.

She hasn’t been an Amazon for years. She’s a normal sized woman in power armor that makes her look huge.
And I’m for Brie in the role, she’s a fan, that gives me faith she cares.
Charlize is a really solid choice to.
Edit: Oh also Halle Berry was shit as Storm because she’s an over rated as fuck actress and isn’t as good as people claim she is. She’s done well in some stuff and pure trash in others. Storm was one of the trash. Catwoman to.

Man they got zilch for the next two years for Xbox sex exclusives, everything they showed is a work in progress or also going to be on the Xbone. Only game that showed game play was Halo infinite, everything else was just cut scenes and video trailers. And what games look good are timed exclusives or also on steam.

Does not matter how tall the actress is, good camera work can make Anyone look taller or shorter. Michale Keton is like 5’8" playing a 6’2 batman. Most of the time he is standing on a box

I’m pretty confident that a Metroid movie can work as a mix outer space sci-fi/ action thriller with a sprinkle of horror. All depends on excutions and what its trying to be though. If they want to focus on Samus being alone and an adaptation of Metroid 1 then you have to do something to get audiences who don’t know anything about the property something to grasp on to in the beginning. First 20 minutes would have to be setup and background on Samus before even getting to that point at a minimum. I’m confident it can be done its just gonna take someone who cares about the lore and the atmosphere.
