I thought Cerny said that most of the PS4 library should work at launch and they only just tested the top 100 titles. Ill have to listen again.
In any case…we shouldn’t have any excuses for games that should be hitting 60fps right? I expect games that don’t even need to be hit 60fps to be running at 60fps.

Edit: Nioh 2s Burst Counter system is really frustrating and feels super unreliable. I take back calling it dog shit cuz it’s not, but it could use a bit of refining I feel like. It just feels so weird to use and it working feels like a toss up that the risk reward doesn’t feel like it’s quite there. Need to mess with it more to get a more solid handle on it.

Biggest issue with the Xbox is the lack of true exclusives. Everything they have hits PC. That said, the Series X is more powerful than most gaming PCs. I had a system built last November isn’t on the Series X’s level. Its likely to be beyond the average PC for a few years. People are still rocking 6700Ks and GTX 1060s or RX 580s. It will likely cost me more than a Series X for the eventual RDNA2 GPU upgrade to surpass it. It basically has the same CPU, 3700X, as my desktop.

I highly, highly doubt that, even with a $600 price point. Especially when the RTX 2800 is 2.5 grand
Unless Sony comes out fucking swinging with some heavy hitters as launch titles seeing as M$ has already said the XBSX won’t have any exclusives it’s First 2 years, I won’t be Day Juan’ing either as well

No way. Absolutely no way. Even if you post a source, I don’t believe it. That would be a flop and a half, they’ll literally get warehouses full of these absolute units.
Exclusives sell consoles. If they launch this gigantic brick with none, especially since we’re expecting it to be expensive, they’ll just implode.
Phil Spencer straight up said it himself at the Game Awards when they unveiled it, iirc. Or directly after the event

The average PC gamer is rocking hardware that my three year old 7700K GTX 1080 powered Laptop smokes. Sorry @Volt So unless you are super hardcore, your rig isn’t on the Series X’s level.

You know that the Xbox sex 3rd Gen Zen processor is only mid teir for the Zen 3 lineup.
No fucking way a $600 console beating machines with $2000 in just the graphics card, and another $300 to $550 in just the CPU
That would depend entirely on the devs.
Most think that 30fps is more than adecuate so they settle for it as the standard.
Even when the game doesnt stress the hardware and could be optimized for 60fps.
