I would say that is a tie between the Og Xbox and the N64.
The gamecube is also one that i dont like, but those 2 are trash.
The dreamcast was a pain in the ass at the beginning, but i eventually learned to play on it without a problem.

Dreamcast triggers were sick.
I played the shit outta SegaGT and Tokyo Extreme Racer on that when i was kid.
Then you had the NBA 2K games were you had to balance and line up the free throws. And the Sega Bass Fishing that used it somehow but i forgot.
Dpad for fighting games were no bueno though, shit was hella sharp lol.
iâve always said the n64 was the worst controller i played with. the dreamcast didnât bother me but thatâs because i was just playing skies of arcadia and grandia 2 on it.
Here hoping the Retro Fighters StrikerDC Dreamcast controller coming in April is good.
I did like their redesigned N64 pad, but I donât care for their Genesis and NES game pads.
I may add that i am not fan of the stick and dpad placement on the xbox controllers and the wiuu/switch controllers.
But is more of an annoyance than anything else.
My favorite controller was the SG Propad, it was basically a Snes and Genesis controller combined and it was one of the only genesis controllers with buttons that lasted and a GODLIKE d-pad.
Judging by the patent Sony filed not too long ago (and assuming thatâs exactly how the DualShock 5 will be made), it will be pretty much identical to DS4 except for like a couple of back buttons and that âpressure resistanceâ gimmick for the triggers
I thought Sixaxis was literally just DualShock 2 with no vibro and no cord attached, so DualShock 3 by extension was just DS2 but wireless. Both felt same to me, including the weight and the shape went unchanged too
My personal issues with DS4 are the gimmicks, because for some reason Sony just HAS to have at least one every fucking generation.
Share button is overrated, Options should never have been renamed from Start (and I personally dislike how small the button is), the LED is useless for 99% of the games out there, the Gyroscope pretty much just exists for some first-party titles (primary reason why I hated playing Heavy Rain remastered), and the touchpad is just a glorified Select button. D-pad could certainly use some refinements to make the button edges less sharp too
I like its weight, its shape, the new buttons, and the ability to just plug in headphones into the thing instead of attaching a cord to the console or buying an expensive as shit (wireless) headset is great.
I will admit, I will agree with this. We should of never lost Start and Select to gain a âShareâ button that was more junk than it was worth. The Touch pad was a gimmick I wouldnât mind to see go.
I dont have an issue with the D-pad but thats me. The DS4 does has a nice weight to it.
Surprised no one said it, but the joy-con. That controller is âneato!â cause it assembles like voltron, but itâs a bad controller.
-Stubby sticks
-tiny buttons
-wack bumpers
-triggers are kinda wack too
-The home button is in a wack spot
-does have a FUCKING D-PAD
so yeah. Joy-con is wack. Pro-controller is dope tho.
N64 controller. Good thing I never wasted money on that system⌠roommate at the time had it so I was able to play the couple of games that interested me for free⌠(my other problem with n64âŚout of its entire lifespan, the # of games I was interested in could be counted on 1 hand.) âŚbut yeah it looked like a controller design from someone who was drunk at the time. It was ugly as hell and not at all comfortable, imo.
oh yeah almost forgot because itâs so damn oldâthe Atari 2600 joystick was terrible. It was such a crude design like the budget at the time mightâve been lower than it shouldâve been, imo⌠but the thing wasâŚitâs seemingly resistant to movementâŚhaha the shit is âtightâ like that controller is⌠aroused The button also was nowhere near the quality of buttons I remember in the arcades. Fortunately, I was quite the spoiled kid so pretty soon I had some alternative options⌠one 3rd party joystick I remember was called âThe Bossâ, and another that was built more like an arcade joystick and with 2 buttons (which was unnecessary; I donât think anything on 2600 used 2 buttons). Once I had those other joysticks I never went back to the regular default one.
I buy multiplatform single player games based on controllers 100% of the time. I would also NEVER buy a racing game on a Playstation platform that is multi because of their controller. Hell I bouth REMake on Xbox One because of the controller.
My favorite controllers are the SNES, the Sega Saturn controller and the Xbox Controller S. Damn comfortable controllers all around
Alright started the Trials of Mana demo. Holy shit the english voices are terrible.
Snatched it up as well and plan to jump into it today during lunch.
Canât wait for the RE3 demo.
Man I really hope Spawn can get back into the spotlight, the 90âs HBO cartoon was tight
Shit, I had one of those. They were great controllers.
