Sure they have the newest AMD Zen processor, but that will be passed up soon enough.
The special SSD will not be a PS5 exclusive as there too much money not to sell it elsewhere.

Yea but this really has nothing to do with wether people buy consoles or not so I donât think it matters as much as you do. People buy consoles for the convenience and to not deal with a PC. Console players really dont give a single fuck about hardware long as it can play the shit released for it and those that do also own a good PC. Using PC architecture doesnât change that fact. Consoles still sell gangbusters so Sony and absolutly Nintendo will still be in the console game. I donât see Sony dipping any time soon and never see Nintendo not making consoles. They see consoles as toys and themselves as a toy company. They wonât ever stop making toys.

I doubt consoles are going away soon. I donât think there are a lot of dude bros and little kids that want to go through the tedium of building a PC. A lot of people would get lost wondering if a video card fits in a particular tower, checking if the memory plays nice motherboard, etc. Etc.
