I’m a bit torn when I play the Switcher 3. This is an open world game so I wanna just wander off and do what I want. Few people like me in towns since I’m a Witcher and some clowns picked a fight with me in the first one I went to. I’m tempted to cut all these town folks that keep calling me freak and treating me like dirt but I’m sure there might be some consequences for doing so. Heck, I’m already wonder if I should always loot when I have the opportunity.
Much as I want to just explore, the story is tugging on me. I wanna know what is up with this Ciri kid and Geralt’s woman. I suppose I could pick up on those thinga when I feel like it. With Breath of the Wild, I held off on the story because I wanted to explore. That isn’t to say I think BOTW’s story is bad but I do think it was one of the weaker parts of that game.
Really wish the BotW memories were in order on the camera and that you could rewatch the cutscenes.
They’re so much better when you get to watch them in order.
I mean really nothing is stopping you. Once you exit the starting location you have the freedom to go whereever without engaing in a single story quest, just be wary that you might be severely underleveled and the enemies will kick your ass. Especially in the Northern and Southern parts of the map

Literally why I didn’t even bother claiming my free Borderlands 3 copy when I bought a new gpu. I probably won’t play the game anyways.

So back to E3 canceling this year
With in the con staff circles its known (or rumored) that E3 isn’t doing as well financially.
Them closing up this year allows them to reset and gain some much needed money from insurance.

The thing I’m going to miss most due to E3 not taking place this year is GiantBomb’s coverage of it. Jeff Gertsmann’s and Phil Spencer’s interviews are easily the highlight of the week for me
