I believe the beef there is that Druckmann butted in on the last Uncharted game and fucked a bunch of stuff up
sorry man i wasnāt expecting this quick response since it isnāt a Capcom title. I thought on offering it to @Radiantsilvergun3 at first,he gave me a steam key once so i was thinking in returning the favor.
sheeeeitttt, Iām addicted to these live streams at this point. Since yesterday around 11 am Iāve been watching various people stream tlou2 now⦠Upper Echelon, then Goldy (GoldGloveTV) and now Anne Munition⦠Iām curious to see her reaction to certain things in particular because she seems to be easily grossed out. Her reaction to the Berserker creature (seeing it the first time) in Gears of War was hilarious. she was terrified and repulsed all at the same time.
I wish other games had this level of presentation with the encounters⦠the animation and how itās all shown to you is nothing short of incredible, actuallyā¦like youāre watching a big budget action movie.
Fuck if I was Sony, I be suing someone over this.
Joel
This is my take as someone that recently has been seeing age smack me and those around me in my face recently.
Dude got domesticated. It happens to us all, you can be a dope at a skill but after a few years you lose your edge. That is why when you retire you still need to do something because if you sit on your ass your mind goes soft. Joel dying that way is perfectly in character.
The problem is that the execution was not satisfactory. Which is indeed like the Game of Thrones final season there are better ways to get to the same result but folk are blowing it out of proportion that it ruins the game or the story. Which isnāt as impactful as the original but still a good story about the theme of violence and revenge.
2 more hours in the books in TLOU2.
I wish this game would never end.
Geez, how far in are you?
This and the vg work culture were it from what Iāve read, including the article I got the quote from.
@purbeast Cool that youāre enjoying it
Been hearing this too. Judgment did this as well. So did Yakuza 6 and Yakuza Kimawi 2, thanks to the Dragon Engine , but Judgment stuck out more seeing as it was their third game with the new engine.
@Hecatom Iād love to try the game out but if you think your cousin would get more use out of it, give to to him/her instead.
I donāt believe that.
Joel
He doesnāt live in an environment where he can believably become domesticated to the point of forgetting his very long and violent history. Remember, we arenāt talking about an office worker just getting old and tired. Were talking about kind-of a sociopath who may have found some personal redemption after the first game, but still lives in a post apocalypse and has both recieved and dealt rather extreme violence.
I can believe him getting soft to a certain extent but I donāt see it making much sense that he gets straight up careless.
So unless heās literally starting to become senile, then maybe I can believe that. If thatās a part of the actual reason then I could at least see that.
@Pertho
I dont really mind leting you get the code.
Just with the condition that you admit that cosplay is the glue that keeps our sciety together
Iām probably 8 hours in? I mean I can tell you the exact part if you want to know, Iāll put it in spoilers below.
spoillers
I turned it off right as Dina told Ellie she is preggers. The whole underground part of the game is intense as shit. My favorite part was when you are dropped into the area with the red lights and those new enemies that blow acid out, and the humans are looking for you. I tossed a molotov cocktail at 3 of the humans and then it made noise so all of the infected started attacking them and I literally sat around and just watched/listened to them slaughtering the humans. It was a good 5-7 minutes of pure mayhem and I didnāt use one bullet. Then I had 2 clickers left that I crept up on and killed from behind.
Joel reply
Joel wanted to GTFO of there as soon as they got in there. You could tell when they asked him if he wanted to take the saddle off the horse and he was like ānope we arenāt staying longā. Tommy is the one who gave up his name first and was being all nice to them. And Joel knew that they knew who he was before they were even asked what their names are. I mean he even follows it up with something like āand im pretty sure you all already knew who we areā so he did know something was wrong at that point. But it was too late, they were completely outnumbered
Joel
I mean, again I donāt think someone else being nice first would take him off guard. In the first game it was literally an injured person and he still was totally ready for shit to go down.
But anyway, as I said before I still havenāt played it, but Iām still planning to watch at least some of a playthrough later so Iāll check out the whole context then.
Iām pretty sure you got a lot more to do, so good news, you get to play more.
Summary
If I recall, you already met one of the infected that you canāt stealth kill. Really makes things frantic, right?
Edit: Joel.
Yeah, they didnāt derail his character. Abby getting to club him like that was stupid as hell, but the trap itself was reasonable.
Yeah I got to those at the part right before I stopped. Fun times!
I ordered my copy of TLoU2, should be here tomorrow. Have a feeling that the āoutrageā might be overblown like FF7R but weāll see. One thing Iāll never understand is how some gamers refuse to put things in perspective and go out their way to 0 bomb a game that doesnāt deserve a 0. Give a game like Sonic 2006 a 0? You got an argument. Give a game like TLoU2 a 0 and that game better be near unplayable.
It is, to some extent.
Didnāt know about 7R though. Kinda dodging spoilers. Hoping it gets ported to PC, yāknow.
Tell your cousin to shove the game up his ass.
