In my heart of hearts I want it to be a Mega Man Legends Collection. I feel like we deserve it.

Monster Hunter Generations is already on Switch. Unless they somehow got World running on it, I donāt think itād make much sense for them to make a brand new MH game just for Switch.

Iām glad I held off. I got some C-Virus money so Iāll be looking around for Nioh 2 and Judgement. Ys and Wonderful 101 I will day juan so swift.

Just buy a physical copy from Play Asia. Itās what I do when these type of shenanigans take place.
I finally beat Streets of Rage 4! After failing stage 12 again and again, I gave another go last night. My main problem was that I was trying to brute force my way through so many of the mooks throughout the stage. When I spaced them out, exercised good use of my special, gained lost lives back, it all clicked. Made it to the final boss and won.

Switch is region free. Asia versions have full English translations and dubs. I got FFX and FFX-2 from Play Asia because the Asia version is on a 32GB Cart and has both games on the cart. None of that download the second game with a code bull shit. I did the same thing for two games I donāt even like. FFVII/FFVIII are on one physical cart. Got that from Play Asia as well. The only downside is you canāt earn coins from games outside of your region.

This is why I didnāt buy Bayo for Switch because of that silliness. I guess my only concern was the being in correct region for online content an this game will focus on that much more.
I tried to get an Asia region copy of Bayo 1/2 for Switch but they sold out so damned fast.
I donāt know 100% of the specifics so how I explain this may be jumbled a bit but whatever your region the Switch is from the game card and the switch automatically talk to each other and default to whatever is best.
So in our case itād be Japanese dialogue with English Subtitles/text/menus and sometimes when English dialogue with English subtitles
If the game doesnāt automatically adjust itās the first thing the game will ask as you boot it up.
Also, as Wellman mentioned below me, patch updates are also region free. So the legwork you have to do is minimal to nil
I donāt see any kind of patches or new dlc for a remake of a game thatās almost 20 years old
I still need to do this for X/X-2. Iād just swap cover art cause having one game with a Japanese text spine would drive me fucking mad.
I wanna do it for the DQ trilogy too but Iād want to find away to swap the cover art.
Software updates are region free I think, I know with my copy of Super Robot Wars T it updated without issue when I plugged it into my system. The only problem with a game from a different region is that is you have to buy or download free DLC from the eShop, you need to have a profile with access to that regions eShop on your Switch.
Given they donāt have the balls to out out a physical copy, I doubt there is going to be any added DLC content for the Crystal Chronicles remaster.

well at best I preordered because Its one of the only FF games I played fully start to finish (I loved the aesthetics and even though I mostly played solo, I enjoyed it)
At worse, I can keep the copy as a collectors item and buy a digital. I did that with Shantae

I need to get the new Shantae but I donāt want to quite yet. I had to order a new employee discount card almost two weeks ago and it hasnāt came in yet. And since I get 10% Nintendo eShop cards Iād like to wait until my replacement arrives. Itās only $3 off but thatās $3 more thatāll have for later.
Iām hoping it comes in tomorrow. Otherwise Iāll have to wait until whenever to get XBC Definitive and Shantae

Summary
Iāve always been fond of the troupe of the main character of the previous entry being a villain in the sequel. It can always make for an awesome story when executed well. Being sealed in a dark parallel Tokyo for ten years would fuck anybody up.
