You didn’t ask for it and you’re gettin it anyway. Ready for KH to get even more convoluted? No? Well, That’s too damn bad
They didn’t even have a basic cart function. Its not features steam and that they were lacking, its functions any store would have.
ha, it will be amusing to watch D+ trying to keep up relevance with HBOMax and Netflix out there as the more serious options. They’ll only hang on because of people that have children, so they’ll never completely crash and burn, at least. They’d likely be a reasonable 3rd place.
It looks like I will go on and get the Saint’s Row 3 remaster… from that Digital Foundry video and the various clips I’ve seen, it does look much more visually improved than what I was expecting.
Diablo 3— they finally fixed the challenge rift on console so it updated recently; too bad the current one is a Monk build though… those aren’t usually as easy to play, imo… Monk tends to be the most flimsy character in terms of defense…usually dies once he gets popped one good time by any decently strong monster.
They didn’t have offline play, a refund policy, and the first thing the launcher did was copy the users Steam info, without permission, and send it to Epic. The last thing is the worst of all.
Its a solid adventure game when the question of translation isnt a factor. The collection of Dracula’s body parts is a cool quest, the variety of settings is really great and the day to night cycle and how it forces you to survive is really great. I get that in some ways it hasn’t aged as well as the original, but I think a lot of the hate for it is really memery. If the game was a LoZ game, people would be falling over themselves to praise it.
Holy fuck!!!
I’ve heard rumblings about an updated version of 5 Special but I thought it was just something they started and never finished! I was gonna pass on the collection, but looks like I’ll be getting this now after all.
Yeah that’s a real deal breaker with me.
No offline play and no refund policy is also hella suspect.
And yet people are mad at me when I say Fuck Epic.
They’ve fixed most of the issues and I’d be willing to give them a shot if it weren’t for that shady personal info stealing issue. The excuse they gave for it was straight up BS. It was a purposeful act and they only feigned contrition because they were caught.
Back when they didn’t have basic cart services and they had their first major sale.
They banned many accounts for just purchasing too much. That’s another NOPE from me.
They claim those accounts has bot-like behavior. I see it as a company I don’t need to spend time with.
I used to have better connections on GGPO compared to Fightcade and this was with a shittier connection and worse PC.
I just find the majority of matches on Fightcade to be straight up unplayable. I don’t know how people deal with that shit.
I mean…the netcode doesn’t have to be that good to be better than V’s.
No it isn’t a cool idea. Having a weird MMO-esque backend for your PEER-TO-PEER fighter makes no sense and it still doesn’t. Weekly server maintenance for a fighting game is still something I find hard to wrap my head around.
Didn’t hear that. If you have no cart, of course people are going to have a lot of activity. People buy multiple titles during sales. Their short comings caused what would normally be single transactions into multiple ones.
Looks like reviews for XBC:DE are getting released. Really liking what I’m hearing on changes in this review I’m listening to at the moment.
My copy just got shipped. Should get it Friday.
Picking up my copy on Friday or Saturday. My dads birthday is on Friday which is why I may wait until Saturday.
I seen this with Arcade Cabinets too.
Oh yep, here let me find an article, they ban you for Fraud. The only Fraud I see is on Epic’s end.
And here Jim Sterling Ranting on about it as well
The funny things that happen when you have not like features programmed to seek out other bots.
If Shitecade is all you’ve got, you make it work. The netcode it has is actually pretty great, it’s just tied to a garbage emulator. If they updated the emulator to something not positively stone age, Fightcade would be awesome.

The funny things that happen when you have not like features programmed to seek out other bots.
Funny things happen when you don’t include basic services (such as a cart function) that any script kitty can set up for themselves with easily acquired code. I expect more out of a Software developer than I do someone who selling handmade nick nacks from a homemade web page. The fact their store launched without basic features is enough to stay away. If they can program a bot, they can program a cart too.
