What a time to be alive
My favorite bit was when John Cena calls Kyo out for basically abusing Shingo.
Friendsā¦
Keeping it vintage with Liu Kangās disco dancing and Raidenās Kid Thunder
About damn time someone did it. Shingo is basically Sakura but male and treated like Dan for no reason.
So shingo is trying to get Kyo to get him pregnant?

Just watched that friendship trailerā¦Jax with the sax channeling the epic sax guy had me done.
So I beat Links Awakening this morning. Iāve basically 100%ed. I have one more very long quest to do in order to get the last few heart tanks and seashells I need before itās true 100%.
I even got the secret ending which they took from the DX/Gameboy Color version (thank god. The original secret ending was so awkward)
Iām still kinda digesting everything and how I feel about the remake over all. I want to write my thoughts on it because this is one of the few games I really do covet and hold near and dear to me but I also want to look at everything objectively.
Cause there are some flaws in it. Most are forgivable and not really āflawsā but there are some where theyāre just too hard to ignore. But there are some monumental highs as well, at least for me anyways.
I have huge notepad document on my phone written in regards of what I want to say but I want it to be organized and legible so it doesnāt come across and me just spilling my brain. This is hands down my favorite Zelda game of all time. The only thing that comes close is Wind Waker. Itās also one of my favorite games of all time. So Iām going to take my time, look at it objectively and fairly.
Whether people read it and enjoy the review to the point they want to try it to? Awesome. If you just scroll past my ramblings. I donāt blame you. Lol.
Either way, I really enjoyed myself while playing it.
Oh manā¦ WORLD OF HORROR folksā¦
I. Fucking. Love. This. Game.
I totally forgot this was available on Steam. I happened to pass it by looking for something else, and bought it up with the quickness.
Basically, the game is a point and click adventure with rogue like elements and a Junji Ito aesthetic to it. You have a couple ways to play the game. Quick play, which letās you select a character (all with different stats and benefits), has you work through the various randomly generated mysterious until you die or reach the end. I have yet to try this but Iām really excited to.
The mode Iāve been messing with mostly is a pre-set scenario where you will only encounter the same pool of outcomes and enemies. Itās one mystery that plays out the same every time, and is meant to get you acclimated with the game. I have yet to beat it, but even after over ten attempts Iām still having fun memorizing the possible outcomes and optimizing the run to try and come out the other side alive. This mode does an excellent job of teaching you how to play, considering the insanely dense amount of info that can be on screen.
That art thoā¦ I really need to look up the artist for all of this, because itās really the artwork that makes this game click.
I think the art is really what pushes everything over the edge for me. This is what I mean when you can do a lot with a little in video games man. These barely moving, still frames of pixelated terror are so effective and detailed. This game has managed to make me feel more uncomfortable and out of my element than a lot of million dollar budgeted horror titles.
Cannot reccomend this enough. I am NOT one of those dudes that typically enjoys point and click games, but thereās so much under the hood here that gives it a ton of longevity and complexity. I have yet to even actually play the main modes in this game, and itās still all I can think about right now when Iām away from Steam.
I was checking that game out yesterday. Iāll try it some time.
Iām not sure how you feel about point and click adventure games but, yeah it could definitely be right up your alley.
I think I like that aspect so much in this game because thereās just a lot to take in with every page. You get an infinite amount of time to look over and soak in all the art, and also take in all the info it throws at you. It gives you all the tools you need to make informed decisions in combat, as well as all the time you could need.
If you do pick it up, make sure you mess with the options to find a filter you like and more importantly turn the math on. The game has various skill checks and it wonāt tell you why you passed or failed unless the math is turned on.
That looks pretty cool actually. I was super into those Dracula The Last Sanctuary/Necronomicon 360 point and click games, and then Shadowgate/The Uninvited etc on the NES. To me those games can have incredible atmosphere if done right. Is this one on switch as well or just steam?
I look forward to this game very much
I have like everything Junji Ito has ever made
but I aināt gonna play it til its actually done, not doing this early access shit!!!
I like point and click games. Last ones I played were Machinarium, Samorost 1, 2 and 3 and The Walking Dead. I have that back to the future one and another. Like with any other genre it just depends on the game. Some I like and some I dont.
Itās supposedly coming to Switch this year but, thereās no definitive confirmation of when exactly.
Iām really not sure why they still call it āearly accessā, for $20 it already feels like a pretty fleshed out and fully functional product. I honestly think itāll get me to finally try out some stuff like Disco Elysium.
A lot of Early Access games are pretty much complete games. A lot of them also have rogue style shit in them and they never really endā¦something like that. The good ones just keep adding to the game, making it better usually.
I played a bit of Disco Elysium. Pretty dope game.
The fact that itās 90ās Mileena tooā¦
