Yep thats gone. I had a GS manager explain to me that most folks barely came in to buy any used if at all for any of the geek stuff besides funkos.Granted the dude is in a dead mall and just right before me made a $1k sale on a family for a switch/switch lite, few games and warranties. He made his sales for the day so anything else would be a blessing.

When is MK11’s big world tournament?
Wow, that’s trash. I have zero reason to keep my membership now. Canceling it tommorow. 
Played the FF7RE demo again today and I gotta say, this game is going to be really damn fun I think. Combat feels really great. Like, I actually feel like I have to think about when I attack, guarding is really important, you’re encouraged to switch around party members for maximum uptime, healing always takes ATB charges so you can’t just spam potions, the stagger system helps keep combat interesting and prevents it from being “just use the strongest skill,” and so on.

That’s so crazy to me though. That was pretty much the only thing that made the membership worthwhile. The points you rack up from making purchases don’t even mean shit. Buying a $65 game gets you like 1000 points, and the cheapest thing of value you can get with those points is a $5 off coupon for 4000 points, and it only works on used games. Lmfao.

It’s just crazy to see Gamestop flailing and fighting to stay alive.
I mean, their current predicament is well-deserved, but it’s just wild to see. Dunno why, but I thought Gamestop would be around forever back in the day. Now, short of something major saving the company, they’ll be gone in 5 years tops.
I had similar feelings about Game Crazy.
Except they actually had some solid deals on refurbished products pretty often. Thinking about it now, I’m honestly more surprised that Game Stop has lasted this long.
Cause they were the main retailer that sold and accepted used games for credit until the last few years?
Also they are tied to many malls soba popular mall would get more foot traffic. However this last 5-6 years have seen online shopping become popular and Malls /physical stores are declining even if video games aren’t.
