Oh and by the way Battlefield V is reaching EOL in June - developers confirmed that’s when the game will receive its final update

So they’ll leave a World War II themed first person shooter with no Soviets whatsoever. No weapons, no vehicles, no maps, nothing

Well to be fair the last time I saw Axel I was a lot smaller too. If there is one thing to take from Fight Club the movie and apply to real life it is no shame in the natural male bod.

Welp, after maybe a week and a half of waiting for parts, and maybe 2 hours of construction, I got my first gaming PC rigged up.

Yes, I’m aware the cables look like shit. I have it sitting on a table until my wireless KB&M gets here, then I can move it into my living room lol.

I’m very happy with the build and it’s performance so far, but honestly it’s just been nice learning how truly easy it is to just do this stuff yourself. A lot of the things that go into PC maintenence and construction has been de-mystified for me over the last month or so as I learn more and more about what makes it all tick.

I might post some videos of how everything runs as I look through my Steam library today. Lots of stuff in here I’ve never really gotten to play until now, lol. For all intents and purposes tho, I guess I’m PC Master race now, too.

Walmart being dumb as hell. They’ve emailed me 4 times today about my copy of Trials of Mana’s delivery time/date changing but it’s been the same delivery time/date every email.

Yeah, I considered trying to get the parts from somewhere locally but Amazon had a few deals going on with some of the parts and I didn’t mind waiting a few days. I’m honestly surprised everything got here as fast as it did.

What’s the “proper” way to beat Rufus Shinra in FF7R? I mean, I already beat him but I definitely cheesed my way thru him.

Killing his pet was easy enough, but he counters my every attack. I basically ran away until my AP build up then hit him with Thundaras and a Limit Break.

I need a non-cheeseball way to beat him straight up

Wait for him to reload as that’s the only time you can hit his RWBY-reject ass. Also, running is better than dodging that one attack where he just sprays and prays.

Is that a Ryzen 3600 CPU? You should have went with a 3700X, since that is what will be in the PS5. It won’t be clocked as high as a 3700X or even that 3600(for thermal/power consumption reasons) so you’re probably golden for the generation just about anyways. You’re missing out on a few cores as well, 12 VS 16. The awesome thing about that AMD setup and PC’s in general is that you can upgrade as you see fit, so if that CPU does become a bottleneck for you next-gen you can literally buy an upgrade and plop it right in.

I’d like to hear your impressions on PC gaming too once you get into it a bit more. I have almost the same setup as well - I’m rocking a 3700X paired with a RX580. It cleaves everything I’ve thrown at it so far, and playing DOOM Eternal @ 60/1440p(downsampled) was glorious. I’ll upgrade the graphics card in the future and that’s it, I’m a 100000% certain it’ll last the entire PS5 generation.
