I get that, I’m more annoyed by the button placement than what they actually represent lol. I just want X and O to switch places (A and B on Switch, I guess) . It feels more intuitive in my opinion, and every other console I’ve owned has that button layout.

Yea reminds me of RDR2 where it took my brother well over 3/4s of a day to download the shit, much less install it. I on the other hand was playing within an hour and half lol.

I gotta get back to RDR2, never finished it. The cover system felt wonky compared to the smooth as butter one in the first game. Didn’t care for having to micro-manage the shit out of my character and crew either

Marsden ending up being one of my favorite protagonists ever, so it’s cool seeing how he started out with Dutch in this. Makes it bittersweet knowing how it ends for him tho

Dude Tifa is OUT OF CONTROL. Her combos and damage potential are so fucking awesome. I love that she has all these skills that buff other skills and she has unique skill cancels like uppercut transitioning to divekick n shit.
And her parry is godly dude, GODLY. It’s a super fast slide with very little recovery, it’s faster than running and safer than dodging, and it trips light enemies too. It’s pretty much amazing.

Yea i put Parry on her two days ago and was like “Whaaaaa?!?!?!” And yea her combos are amazing. She has legitimate flow, and her pressure and stagger potential is fucking nuts. Like she should generally be your lead in on a fight and then switch to Cloud once you get the stagger, but even still her damage is so good you don’t really have to do that if you dont want to. I did the majority of a late game boss as her almost exclusively. She’s so damn good. Give her elemental and watch her SHRED shit. It’s fucking awesome.
