Bloody Roar was a Hudson IP and Konami has all of Hudsonâs stuff. I would view this news with a truckload of skepticism.

Watched Castlevania on Netflix and played the shit out of Bloodstained ROTN and COTMâneed more Castlevania. This stupid video cracked me up and now have the urge to play SOTN. Whatâs the best way to play SOTN right now? Heard something about the 30th anniversary wasnât faithful or something canât recall but remember some complaint about it.

Yeah, the full game and the 8-bit side game (which was way better than I expected). Itâs the first game Iâm on the verge of platinuming (the full game) before I slowed on it months ago. So good.

I donât how much of an interest there is in Command and Conquer here, but tomorrow is when pre-orders close for the special editions that Limited Run are going to have made. Just snagged me a copy.
Originally, I wasnât going to buy it; but the remastered music from Frank Klepacki sold it for me.

Ah, if only this were more of a traditional game thoughâŚit frustrates me to no end that this is one of those âvisual novelsâ. âŚanyway, this dlc lets the player play as a âLasombraâ clan vampâŚ
(*quick cliff notes on Lasombra-- they are masters of shadow-oriented supernatural abilities; things like making clones of themselves out of shadows, forming weapons, disappearing into shadows and re-appearing elsewhere, etc. Their curse is that they donât appear in mirrors or any reflective surfacesâŚthey also donât show up on video footage or photography; either not at all or just flickering like the camera feed is glitched outâŚand they take twice as much damage from sunlight as a normal vamp)

The version on requiem (recent ps4 release) is fine. The nitpicking youâll see is mostly because itâs a port of the psp port, which had a better translation than the original English version. Those of us who played sotn back when it was released have nostalgia for the corniness of the original script and voice acting. Honestly, itâs an overhyped criticism- the game wasnât made great by any of that, it itâs great because itâs a fun game. And with requiem, youâll also get Rondo of Blood, which is among the best (arguably the best, to many) of the classic style castlevania games. Youâll find other minute criticisms of the port as well, but none of it detracts from the fun of these games.

Ah ok leave it to âfansâ to blow it out of proportionâdefinitely gonna check that out. Played Rondo over 10 years ago on PC Engine emulator. Only beat it as Maria, which some consider cheating heh. Might as well revisit it.
