Video Game General 7.0: Day Juan Ys: MoC June 9th & Wonderful 101 June 30th!

It’s when the controller gets stuck in one position. Say you’re moving your character left, you let go of the controller and your charcter still moves left. You don’t visibily see it on the controller ( it is possible though), but in the game.

Switch’s have it at the manufacturing level

If the reports about MS, Sony and Nintendo using China’s Uighur Muslim concentration camps for manufacturing are true, expect that they will have even more problems with the hardware next generation.

Oh, that’s really annoying. I thought it only happened on cheap pads tho.

Never had that on PS4 but did experience this on PS3, my left stick got fucked up doing whammies in Guitar Hero games

I’ve only experienced stick drift in recent years on the switch.

Every 360 controller ive ever owned had drift. Had 2 PS3 controllers get it and my PS4 controllers can’t decide between Drift and Deadzone. I’ve had both on seperate controllers less then 2 years old.

My first experience with it came from the 360 when I would put the controller down and Master Chief would slowly aim to the left.

Oh I know about the sentinel cores. They do insane damage and do insta-stun. They’re awesome. My problem is I can’t kill any of the sentinels fast enough to get the core while magneto is charging up for his ultimate attack. So I feel I need to level up or do some sort of customization via ISO-8 or the weird not sphere grid but sphere grid thing.

Contact GameStop via one of their contacts listed on the website. Store front won’t know shit. Contact customer service directly.

These will be the things they will likely ask for

  • game you ordered
  • date you ordered it
  • order number
  • numbers on the back of gift cards

Order number and gift cards numbers will be the most important.

Since you don’t have the gift cards any more their numbers will likely be available in your order history, payment methods or on the order confirmation email from when you ordered the game.

Once everything is confirmed they will (should) either resend you another copy priority or they will credit your account back the total gift cards amount so you can reorder the game.

I haven’t experienced any drifting, even with my joy-cons. But I don’t play on joy-cons that often.

I have occasionally experienced drift on PS3 and frequently on the PS4. Most of the time it is an easy fix, but it is still silly for it to be a problem all of a sudden.

Its really common some reason on the Nintendo Switch Joycons, and it happens sometimes on Xbox One controllers and Sony Dualshock 4 controllers. But you see it more on the cheap stuff.

I thinking is that Sony and Microsoft buys their base analog cube from the same cheap ass Chinese supplier.

I’ve only had a 360 controller and a Joy-con drift on me. I’ve heard PS4 controllers have had other problems. My only problem with the PS4 controllers are the battery life.

After 90 hours of playing on and off I finally completed FightNRage. Those survival challenges were no joke.

I have analog drift on my custom DS4. I never had a controller fuck up on me so many times than a DS4. This is my third one that’s fucked up.

I flat out destroyed 2 DS4s on my quest to 100% N++ which is pretty garbage when you consider my PS1 launch controller still gets use on steam retro games and has put in 20 years of hard labor playing games like Mega Man Zero on emulator.

Got through chapter 1 last night in Trails of Cold Steel 3. Maaaan it’s been good so far. Seeing all these returning characters you haven’t seen for years and from previous games for the first time in 3D is awesome.

That brings me to FF7R. Some reviews have been saying there’s quite a bit of padding. I wonder what it is though. Trails series has 9 games atm(although it’s 3 different arcs). Idk if you would consider slow burn as padding, but pretty much everything contributes to character development and world building.
