I don’t even know if work is even getting in copies. It’s not coming up in the searches on the dotcom store or app. I also usually check electronics section for holder tags of new release games to see if we’re getting them, when I did yesterday I didn’t see any placement tags for 7R.
I have to grab groceries tonight so I’ll check again tonight. If it’s not there I won’t know until Friday when I go in.
The Square Enix store sent out copies late last week. I’m not sure if any retailers in the US are selling copies yet.

Usually my work, Walmart will still let you know if the game will be available at your store and surrounding by dotcom or Locally with placeholder tags in the store.
It’s not doing either. Which is why I said I don’t know if my store is even getting any copies.

I’m usually able to walk right in and get copies where I live, so I never have to pre-order. But with Covid-19, I’m not sure how this will play out. Soon as I got off work Friday, ima call around and make a non-essential store run if anybody has FF7

Why do this? Just download apps for stores on to your phone and see if they have it. Store apps have store by store inventory and can check surrounding stores based on GPS.
If the app or site says “limited quantity” or “unknown” then I’d call ahead. When store sites say “in stock” it general means they have more than 10 copies on hand

Amazon updated my deluxe edition to drop around the 14th. I’m fine with it since this is my full foray into a full FF7 play thru.

Just got done running errands. My work is indeed getting FF7R in. we had a place holder tag for it in the PS4 section. No deluxe edition though. Which is fine. I’m still super on the fence about getting it anyways. I’m also knee deep MUA3.
I’ve only played for about 15 hours or so and to me the worst thing about MUA3 is the camera by far. I can forgive the weird hit detection and collision (not as bad I initially said it was) and the VA is growing on be but Hooollllyyyy shit the camera angles horrid at times.
@Million-X and @cdb2 did you guys ever use Heroic view? Is it any better than standard? Cause some of the angles you get in standard are rough

@MARTIAN I haven’t heard as such, no. With all the stores having limited hours I don’t see “midnights” happening anywhere anytime soon.
FF7R is the last big release for the foreseeable future in major retailers eyes. With covid-19 blowing up like it had in just 3 weeks in the states it’d honesty be dumb for companies to give the game any kind of social gathering outlet, imo.
Well no, not midnights. Game Stop in my city was literally selling those games the day before. It might’ve been when they were still transitioning to pickup only, tho.
