I think they want Chris/Jill/Leon as the mascots of the franchise with Chris being the perfect muscle guy hero for the modern âmiltaryâ shooter audience Capcom has had trouble with pinning down since the SNES era.
Leon is the âprettyâ one with his looks and Jill is the changeling or Mario that fits in whatever.
Also doubles as strong female lead.

Leon also has the âadvantageâ of being in every RE animated movie. So yeah, I think Leon and Chris get pretty equal shine within their own franchise. In crossoversâŚthatâs another story entirely.
People keep asking for Billy back, why would he come back? Dude is still an escaped felon, and is now an escaped felon thatâs considered deceased by Rebeccaâs official record. Unless you want an RE game about the two running from the law he really cannot come back.
This always irked me. Youâd think someone with equal skills to Jill and is another survivor of Raccoon City would be pretty damn helpful inside the BSAA.

Not even a week ago they announced when next years event is going to be. SoâŚno? Theyâre just wiping their hands of this years.
IGN is basically doing what everyone was hoping E3 would do.

I would LOVE to see Sheva in another Resident Evil, even as the main playable character. Easily one of the most underutilized characters in the franchise.
At this point Iâm worried she was just your one time, token colored representation for the entire series. I guess narratively it makes sense for her to stay in Africa but, man itâd be nice to see a character like that take the role as the main protagonist.

Her biggest issue is reallyâŚwhy call her (in the story) when you can call any of the other main protagonists instead? Who often will have their preferred partners already, or be put in a situation they have to use whoever is nearby. And this is considering that Jill is essentially âretiredâ and Claire only gets involved when sheâs inevitably kidnapped by people who donât know who the fuck she is.
Didnât they have some goofy ass storyline in the files of RE5 about the Wesker Siblings project? I felt like they were goin for an MGS vibe and failed horribly, I could be wrong thođ
It exists, but thereâs only one other Wesker Sibling, Alex Wesker. Itâs not really a MGS thing though as they arenât clones.
YeahâŚI think he and his sister were the only 2 that survived the experiments.
Weskerâs sister was an antagonist in the RE Revelation games.
But knowing RE, that fool has a clone somewhere plus his son Jake from RE6 is running around the world, and almost tapped grownup Sherry!!
