This. For Sony PlayStation is a massive product. For Microsoft Xbox is a platform with a big potential. Makes perfect sense when you see stuff like GamePass and xCloud, as well as putting all their first party exclusives on PC. Especially with how tightly integrated the services are (example - iirc when Xbox makes cloud backups for your data, it goes to MSā OneDrive)

Oh course there is never a āneedā to release a new console. However, now is a good time. You donāt have to be Digital Foundry to see that the base Xbox One is being left behind like John D. For the last year plus, itās hardware hasnāt been able to adequate enough for several multi-platform titles. Consoles essentially set the PC platforms āMinimum Requirementsā. Itās been nearly seven years, time for the technology floor to shift upward again.

Itās not a surprise since I already really enjoyed the Zero series, but Iām having a good time replaying them in the new collection. The new checkpoint system is a great addition, removes the aggravation of having to reset/reload saves any time you do something that will trash your rank (assuming youāre going for EX skills in 2 and 3, which I always do). NG+ has always been a blast in these as well, starting with all the EX skills really makes the gameplay more fun IMO. I kind of wish the charge wasnāt a thing in these (or at least there was a no charge mode), as this would force you to play it more like X4-X6 Zero modes, really leaning into the combos and EX moves.

Guess I never really thought of baldurs gate games as turn based. I mean, the fights will keep going if you dont pause it.
Lots of turn based rpgs will keep going even if you dont do anything.

I liked Nioh way more than Sekiro. I found the combat in Nioh to be a lot more fun.
I hate that every fight in Sekiro just boils down to you Staggering/guard breaking the opponent. I thought it got really lame after a while. Your upgrades are boring too, itās either slightly more health or slightly more damage so you have an easier time staggering your opponents and thatās it.
You get some cool sub weapons but most of them suck, are extremely situational, or are used toā¦help you stagger your opponents.
I just found the combat to be one dimensional. Small enemies, big enemies, mini bosses, actual bosses. Your goal is the same everytime. Stagger/guard break.

Then I probably wouldnt think those are turned based either. To me, turn based is when the game pretty much stops and no actions are taken by anyone but the player. Then the player chooses an action and it goes off and then a bad dude gets to go. No worries though cause you can walk off while the bad guy takes his turn cause nothing will happen after that unless you take your turn.
Ok? I mean good luck convincing anyone Final Fantasy 4-9 arenāt turn based shrug

Youāre still taking turnsā¦the game just isnāt going to wait for you to take yours if itās their turn and youāre still deciding what to do.

Also, dont those games do exactly what I described in the post above your lame post about convincing folk about some shit? the game pretty much stops when it gets to a players turn. Nothing will happen in those games unless the player takes his turn.
Im sure I do consider those turn based.
Edit - Iām beginning to think you guys have never played any BG games. Or youāre just being the typical turds you are and youāre trying to change turn based into something else so it fits your argument better.
