Who got/is getting AC? I’m not totally sure how multiplayer is going to work but we should make an SRK town for us neerdowells. We could even have elections.

From a gameplay stand point I can’t stand AC. I 100% get the appeal of the gameplay but I just don’t jive with it.
I may get it for a friend though. Her and her doctor think she only has the flu but her doctor suggests the mandatory 2-week quarantine just to be on the safe side. So I figured I’d get it for her as a get better soon gift.
I see what you’re saying. It’s hardly has any “gameplay” at all.
I just like collecting a bunch of stupid shit and filling up the museum.

For sure. The game oozes charm and style. The game doesn’t pressure you into doing anything unless you actually want to do it. You can play at your own pace, make your own goals, interact with the game and it’s insanely charming characters however you want within the laws of the game, and that’s AWESOME.
But. If I’m going to play a game it needs to have some sort of end game or pay off for putting all that time into it. Otherwise I just feel out of x money and y hours. I don’t find daily, weekly, monthly and seasonal chores on top of what I mentioned replay value.
It’s why I dislike the mmo and sim genre so much. I don’t consider what they offer worth my time, energy or money. I don’t think they’re bad games by any means. I just don’t give a shit about them.
With fighting games it’s different because the community for them is competitive in nature. So you strive to be better than your friend, your rival, being the best in a play group, the best at a tournament and so on.
So while there is no end game, it has a pay off; you keep learning, you keep getting better, you keep winning.
Or you scrub out, go 0-2 and blame your stick.

Me, though it’ll have to wait till the end of the month. I’ve already got my hands full (and wallet empty) with Doom, Nioh and Spawn.
It’s eating away at me though. I fucking love Animal Crossing. Wild World is one of my favorite handheld games ever made. Perfect type of game for mobile. It’s nice being able to just check up on the town once a day. Game doesn’t ask too much of you, but also offers something new as long as you come back.
It’s weird seeing an animal crossing game that’s actually pretty. This game looks nice, not just “ugly, but it’s cute enough so you don’t mind” like most of the AC games have been.
I tried out the RE3 Demo.
Defying all odds, my PC can run it (with a few frame rate drops) as long as I set pretty much everything to the absolute minimum.
Told y’all the old GTX 750 has a lot of heart. 
Some impressions
Dodging is hella busted.
Got some perfect ones without even really trying, the timing is hella lenient and the regular zombie grabs have way too much startup.
I haven’t got to Nemesis yet tho. He will be a better test of the timing for the perfect dodges, but even a regular dodge helps a lot with zombies as long as you don’t dash into their grabs.
You can dodge-cancel knife stabs. Forgot to test if you can cancel shots, but it’s likely. I will actually finish it later.
The game is a ton of fun.
Yeah dodges seem really absurd in this game and the timing is a lot more lenient compared to the OG RE3 where…well, not even top speedrunners get anywhere close to actual consistency with it.
But considering Nemi can stunlock your ass and potentially instakill you when grabbed it may be a necessary evil. They made Jill OP against everything else so they could turn Nemi OD.
Finally had time to finish and play and rpg 
played the ff remake demo… Never played the original but wtf is up with the camera in this remake? I got so dizzy trying to fix the camera during fights.
Grab only seems to come out if you’re in Danger.
As for the stunlocking, haven’t seen it yet. Unless you mean how he can stun with the roar and then duff you, but I haven’t seen him loop it on anyone yet.
The tentacle seems to be some bullshit tho.
Nemi can throw a 3 Piece combo at you and you will die. I haven’t seen anyone actually dodge in the middle of the combo after getting hit by the first piece. Of course it’s not a guarantee he throws the 3 Piece either.

There’s a bunch of camera settings in the options. You can even pull the camera back farther. Mess around with those

Not working the past few days hasn’t been so bad. I got around to starting working on my multi jamma light gun cabinet project. Today I finished the little “shelf” i am building so I can put 5 games below the main game board inside the cabinet. Turned out pretty nice.
I only have 3 games so far, and one of them (Maximum Force) is going up top above those, so I’ll only be using 2 of those boards for the time being. But once I get game 4 I will mount it to the last board there, and when I get 5 and 6 I’ll have to go buy some more wood and cut em.
What do you mean? It’s the same as just about any other 3D camera. I never had an issue. As Gasa said there are options in the menu for different camera types. Try those out and see if one fits you better.
