Got my new gun and gun shell today and just installed em in Maximum Force. Looks much cleaner IMO with the matching blue guns. And I also put new yellow start buttons as well to match the t-mold.
Maybe now I can actually enjoy it a little bit. Although I’m still waiting for the DRAM chip for my A51/Max Force duo. The one that was sent with the conversion kit had a broken leg so I can’t save settings like free play and volume. I think he is sending a new one tomorrow so once I get that, then I can actually put in some time. I don’t want to play it yet without being able to save high scores and stuff.
Scalpers are going to scalp especially if the demand is high enough on an item. Enforcing the 1 per customer rule will deter some but those who are really into the hustle are going to blow past this. Scalpers actually have scripts and shit for stuff like this online. I know someone in the fgc around here who does this stuff.
You really don’t get it man…I’m telling you. The real scalpers do not care. They are going to scalp. The companies can put up their counter scripts to this stuff and they will find a work around on that its ALWAYS going to be like that. Its just going go round and round on it. I’m just going to leave it at that.
Really? Are you this fucking ignorant? Did you not see on eBay where people had legit pictures of stacks on stacks on stacks of NES classic, SNES Classic and even PlayStation One Classic (lol). Or you see eBay listings with people of 10+ of CE or LE’s of major releases on hand? Or people that are selling 20+ preorders for something?
There is always a work around. Whether online or IRL. There is always a work around.
It’s how small gaming stores can get and sell certain products before street dates without getting caught. This goes from video games, gaming systems, to tcg sets. Shit, anything honestly.
Shit, when I worked at GameStop we had someone who owned a mom and pop store try to preorder 25 of the NES edition 3DS XL’s that were exclusive to GameStop. We told him absolutely not and called every store we could in the area to make sure they didn’t let him do it at their store.
But guess what? I went by that store that day that edition of 3DS XL came out and he had 25 of them anyways.
Cloned/ghost/digital debit/credit cards, prepaid debit cards, gift cards, multiple PO Boxes, having friends who are willing to help you out. I could fucking go on for a while
And everyone wonders why I fucking always shit on you.
Nintendo doesn’t care about scalpers, it fits with their business strategy of artificial shortages.
Your fucking dumb ass should know how Nintendo does everyone dirty with amiibos.
And if Sony cared, they would put some actual effort into the PS1 Classic.
I’m about 70% through Blasphemous now. Gotta say, this game is really pissing me off at the moment.
A lot of my grievances with this game start to show themselves more in these end game areas, where platforming becomes a lot more crucial. There’s this specific hallway where the ground is nothing but spikes, and you’re expected to hop along these floating platforms while avoiding guiltoines that swing back and forth. Getting hit at all pretty much guarantees death because you get launched into the spikes.
This would be fine as a one time trial, but at the end of this hallway you unlock a huge shortcut that leads to another big early game area. And now, unless I want to spend literally 30 minutes going around this one hallway, I’m forced to die and die and die over and over again trying to get to this one single room on the other side of the hallway.
Again, this wouldn’t be so bad, but the platforming in this game ranges from fine to just plain not great. It can be very ambiguous when your character is gonna actually grab the edge of a ledge, as they are not generous with the Hitbox at all. The game honestly has a lot of these jumps they expect you to make with unfair perspective issues or walls making it needlessly hard to guage a hop, and the penalty for failure is usually falling on spikes or down a bottomless cliff, forcing you to trudge all the way back to the spot where you’ll probably die again.
Small platforming issues like this have been a thorn in my side for a large portion of the playthrough. It’s definitely not enough to ruin the game, and I’m definitely going to keep playing till I 100% it because I’ve honestly been in love with pretty much every aspect of it, including the difficulty. It’s a fantastic game for sure. But after spending so much time with it, I’ve noticed how much this aspect has been pissing me off every now and then, so I need to vent.
My general response when ppl try to argue with me is to say “OK” then go back to what I was doin. Kills their whole spirit and relieves you from unneccessary stress. Try it
