Are the Bioshock games any good?
I’ve only played the first one. It’s atmospheric narrative is incredible and the story is awesome.
I can’t say anything about the other 2.

Each Bioshock game is an integrally different game from each other in a myriad of ways, but yeah. They are Sci Fi based, first person shooter/RPG’s. The last game, Infinite, being a little less of an RPG and more of a narratively focused, “linear” story.
The first game is often still regarded as the best. It’s my personal favorite for sure. But I’d argue each game has something to offer that warrants at least one playthrough. They’re brilliant games with an incredible world full of interesting science fiction concepts, and dystopian levels of commercialism, almost in a very Ayn Rand/Fallout way.
That collection is great. I bought it when it was full price and there’s still stuff for me to come back to in those games even years later. I love them all. For free, I’d say that’s a fucking steal.
Definitely start with the first game and see if it’s for you. Just expect it to feel a tad dated, considering when it was released. But even by today’s standards the first game is impressive in a ton of ways. One of the best games to come out of the last Gen, easy.

I played Bioshock and Bioshock Infinite. I like both games. Like others have said, FPS with rpg stuffs and good story and atmosphere and shit. Really good games. I never played Bioshock 2. I have it but I’m not really interested in it.

Im glad MegaMan 11 sold well, it really was a solid addition with cool little gimmicks. Would defintely buy a 12 or new X game if they’re gonna be quality like that

The collection also comes with all DLC from all three games which is an insane amount of content. The only downside is that they axed the multiplayer from BioShock 2 which is a shame, because it was really unique and fun as hell.
It’s an FPS at its core but you get some funky-ass “spells” AKA “plasmids” to use throughout each title which makes the combat a shitload of fun. You can freeze people, set them on fire, distract them with a horde of bees while you make it rain on them, queef out little air traps that stick to the floor and LAUNCH any enemy that comes near it while you pepper their culo with bullets. It’s good times, man and that’s just some of the powers AKA plasmids you get.
I’d tier them in order of release, just like Dead Space. BioShock 1 > 2 > 3. Dead Space 1 > 2 > 3. All awesome titles and are worth a playthrough, and if you like the first game, you will like them all.
@drizzt360 Play BioShock 2 you jabroni, it’s better than Infinite. Rapture falling apart is something to behold coming off of the first game. The atmosphere is something else.

I haven’t played BioShock infinite but The only negative thing regarding infinite I’ve consistently heard is how bonkers and dumb the last act and ending are.

It was essentially “super glad mvc3 is out. I wanna put all these dream casts in a trash compactor but I’d rather make money off them to pay the last month of the storage unit these stupid fucking things were in for years”

Wow 4.1 mil for SFV? It was around 2.1 mil a few months after AE launched, figured it’d prob be just 3 mil or so by now.
Factoring in all the damn DLC the game has too, maybe next title will have an actual budget.

I wonder how many of those 4.1 mil are actually the game, and not just the upgrade for the base game to CE.
