Dead Cells was on sale yesterday for Switch, with a bundle that included the new DLC they just released. Being a man of taste and culture, I swooped it with the quickness.
I think Iām even more compelled to keep playing this game, just because itās on Switch. This is one of the most perfect games to put on something portable. Pull it out on a lunch break, knock out a dungeon or two, put it away for later. I donāt even know why I was playing this on PS4, period.
I havenāt played since before there was any DLC, so a lot of this stuff is brand new to me. I was pleasantly shocked to see you can unlock a ton of different outfits for The Prisoner.
This new Bad Seeds DLC thoā¦ So smart. Theyāve added 2 new early game areas, so you donāt even need to be hardcore deep into the game to experience the new content. I ran into this fellow yesterday:
Surprised I was able to beat him on the first try. These new areas have some really great designs with the environments and creatures. The artstyle in this game is so fluid and unique as a whole, but these areas have some of the coolest color pallets and visuals in the entire game.
Oh, and two handed weapons. This scythe is justā¦ Wow.
Managed to even get to the Hand of The King last night, which is the farthest Iāve ever got if Iām not mistakenā¦ Seemed like it might have even been the last boss. But alas, he shat on my chest. ):
Round two tonight, baby. Or round 28. Whatever, itās hard to keep track at a certain point. Hopefully I can find my way into the Aboretum tonight, I still havenāt seen that area.
As a small anecdote: I think this has convinced me to start over my Blasphemous playthrough so I can play it on Switch. That game is soooooo good, but Iāve been drowning in video game releases, trying to stay sharp in fighting games, trying to actually make videos, ect ect. I still plan on making something about Kakarot, because boy do I have a lot to sayā¦

Ah, so the second batch of Leroy nerfs finally cameā¦ Cool. The game can kinda breath again.
Now we wait to see how MainManSWE turns this into a clickbaity YouTube title anyway.

Good to see so many addicted to Dead Cells. I honestly think its the best of its genre in the last 5 years no contest. The devs go above and fucking beyond. I did not expect this level of support for so long. Especially when so much of it was free. Iād legit pay for every bit and not bat an eye.

Yeah, and the only reason theyāre charging for this expansion is so they can keep adding free updates in the future. On top of it being literal couch change at 5 bucks.
Game deserves all the praise and success itās been seeing.

Oh fuck yeah, Deadcells been amazing balls, brutal but amazing.
Dead Cells is one of my favorite games. I play it often. I have it on every PC in my house (4 of them) and all have different saves. Its a great game.
Still been stuck on Synthetik. Its real fun. I been playing it on M&K and its killinā my hand. I donāt care though. I think I could use a controller to play it but I donāt think that would be as fun.
I checked out some game called CrossCode. Seems kinda cool. Iāll check it out more later.
Wish I could put some emulators on da PS3. I havenāt looked much into it but it seems that I can only put retroarch on it and I dont really like retroarch.
Retro arch isnāt bad per say as they can load various emulation cores. But not everything is perfect

In most games when picking a main I always picked who looked the coolest or who had the coolest in game story. I rarely ever go by how they look gameplay wise. Cause I have no issues playing aggro, midrange or turtle. Whatever the character I want to play calls for Iāll play them that way.
Turns out they were usually the best or very close to. Very rarely did I play mid tier or bottom tier characters unless I was bored of the current meta. E: I learned Sean and Denjin-Ryu in 3S cause I got so bored playing Ken.
The only time I can remember where gameplay effected the character I wanted to main was SFIV when they revealed Rufus. I went āholy shit. I have to play this dude. He looks fun as shitā
With vs. games I couldnāt really do that but it also didnāt hurt that most vs titles the top echelon of characters were characters I genuinely liked or loved from other IPās.
Itās why in MvC2 I mained Magneto/Cable/Psylocke for so long. They are three of my favorite x-men characters.

I always go for the designated grappler. I like to grab and doing big damage doing sample shit.

I mained Cody in A3 but my back up was Gief. Dude was hella fun to play. Short hop head butt activation was always scary as shit
