i normally get a nintendo system for the exclusives and a playstation for everything else + Japanese support but itâs starting to make more sense for me to go to one of those pc builder sites and have one made instead of getting a ps5 right away seeing as most jap games come to steam these days anyway and crossplay will be more common for fighting games i have almost no reason to actually get the next playstation system besides playing the shit i already bought.

Last gen, a PS3 or a Wii wasnât a replacement for the 360, if thats what youâre insinuating. The RROD thing happened during the period where PS3 was pretty trash.
I had 6 RRODâs until the slim. I also got a PS3 about a month after I got my first 360, when Heavenly Sword launched, as it had the best graphics, and I worked at Gamestop and could borrow games, and there was still nothing to play on PS3. Except Tekken 5DR.
That said, Iâll probably buy both new consoles. I donât know if at launch. If the XBOX has a full fledged Forza title, with new assets, and a FULL game, I will buy it. I had a XB1 launch console, and took it back to Target, as there was nothing but Killer Instinct, and Forza 5 had way less content than 4. I got the XB1 again, a year later.
The PS5 I will buy at launch IF it has full BC, and I can buy a Copy of Tokyo Xtreme Racer Zero and TXR3, and play it as is, no extra lag, can stream, ect.
They Wired article said it was using a 4K Blu-Ray drive with 100GB capacity disks IIRC

Confirming with Darc that this was stated in the wired article.
I found and uploaded this a while ago, I wish it didnât use the vocaloid, but itâs still awesome and matches the game perfectly. The race in the vid starts at 1:20 and that part of the music is super epic especially for the race.

Let get this clear right now.
The Xbox 360 was trash as 2 out of 3 consoles would come bricked out of the box brand new, and half of all Xbox 360s before the Falcon Redesign was RROD after a few months.
I had a PS3, did not get a Xbox 360 till way late.

360 was definitive system for Ninja Gaiden, Bayonetta, fighters etc. I did go through 3-4 360âs. Was worth it.

Playstation 5 is a day one purchase. Bloodborne, Final Fantasy 7: Remake, and The Last of Us 2 at 60 fps. Letâs go.

I really hope the PS5 controller isnât just a fucking DS4 with these new features. Please have a new design. The DS4 is complete shit and is still basically the same design as the PSX controller with tacked on analog sticks in non-prime position for the left side.
I hope they leave the controllers alone

Like I said, at the time of the RROD, PS3 had all of shit to play. And I had one.
I also worked at Gamestop at that time, so I had the entire PS3 library to play for free.
