I agree. But the games I’ve bought the ad free version for; the ads aren’t that bad.
With a lot of mobile games there’s CONSTANT pop ups, or videos, MTX “limited time offers”, stuff like that. With the game I’m talking about it’s just a small banner across the bottom of the screen that effects nothing. It isn’t asking for MTX, it’s not asking you to watch a video. They’re just promoting their other games.
Kinda reminds me of the taskbar at the bottom of SRK that you could only remove if you upgraded to Premium status. Which was also BS.
But requesting $2 to remove said ads is also some shit. Hell, even if it was Nintendo promoting Zelda and Metroid games in a Mario game, I would immediatetly boycott that shit (even if they were godlike games)
Good thing all the mobile Nintendo games have been ass then. Fire Emblem Heroes would have been cool if it wasnt a gatcha grind fest with limited events on top of limited events.
Mario Kart Tour is the worst offender though. MTX’s+Subscription fee that makes MTX’s cheaper and have better drop rates.
Bruh.
Target is currently have a B2G1 free sale. Today only

Congressman resigns upon misusing his campaign funds…this includes buying games off Steam
When Steam sales are so good that even a congressman would risk his job just to take part in it.
I’d ask if this was legit…but I’m pretty sure I already know the answer.
Also Snoop is in NHL…for some reason
In other news, 160 hours later I’ve finally finished first playthrough of The Witcher 3. What a fucking game it is, man.
Starts out very roughly but once you’re out of the first area and get the ball rolling - that’s when the real game begins.
Also the DLCs are really good.
Anybody’s got questions - fire away, hopefully I can answer them
but where is the legion boss battle?
Are you gonna do 2 more for the other endings?
Which ending did you get for the main game, Blood and Wine, and the other DLC?
sheeittt, I finally got back to playing Monster Hunter World for a bit since I got the Iceborne expansion. The new armor and weapons they added for beginner characters is such a crazy boost… it’s like my character is Superman compared to what he was previously, thanks to this boost. That was still quite a rough battle I just had with the Pink Rathian though, just getting used to when I can even safely attack him at all…the only good opportunity seems to be when it spits out 3 fireballs.
Maybe later, I’ve been basically “marathoning” TW3 for the past couple of weeks and would like to finish up other games I still game installed (like RE1, Rayman, Furi, Titan’s Quest, among many PS+ titles)
For base game:
Ciri survives but parts ways with Geralt as she is taken back to Vizima. Nilfgard wins the war against the Northern Realms as I helped assassinate Radovid earlier. Was really disappointed with Ciri just leaving like that and the credits rolling, such an uneventful ending
For Hearts of Stone:
Gunther dies as Geralt solves the mirror puzzle, Olgierd survives and starts a new life, giving his trusty sword as a parting gift
For Blood and Wine:
Both sisters die at the trial as Syanna stabs Anna through her chest and Syanna is shot in the throat by one of the guardsmen, I put flowers on both graves. Felt like shit when I got that ending
Also, while I did mention both DLCs are good - I have to say I like Hearts of Stone better. It’s much smaller in scope due to being merely a northeastern corner of the Velen area, but the story itself and events that unfolded during it were fucking wild
Blood & Wine gets its own dedicated zone with many more characters to meet, quests to do, several new enemy types to fight, and Toussaint is BEAUTIFUL, but the story itself is…basically a glorified murder mystery? Didn’t like it as much

I have no idea who they are so I have no idea how important or relevant this is. Apparently they were an arcade shmup developer from the mid 80’s-mid 90’s.
Edit: thanks to @radiantsilvergun3 for the knowledge bomb.
One of their games is Fire Shark on Megadrive/Genesis
So yes, pretty exciting
This is the most amazing news of the year. You have no fucking idea.
I’ve never heard of them so I didn’t know how relevant it was. Given it was shmup related I figured you’d be excited and give more insight on how significant it is.
