Fairy Tail…March 2020.

I’ve seen the leak that involves that and supposedly a remake of Super Metroid. I’d keep my hype in check, the guy responsible for the rumor’s track record is spotty at best.

I think I’m going to buy Wolcen, fack it. My PC parts are coming in next week and that would be a nice game to give her a test. Its like 20 bucks right now, and once it leaves early access in January(if it does) it’ll jump in price like pretty much every early access game does.

PoE2 and d4 graphics and animations now is a sight to behold. Dat cryengine.

^ I bought this which is also in early access, but I’m also confident 3d realms will get it out the door like they did Ion Fury. Postal 4 is another early access game I’ll most likely buy in the future, mainly because I’m confident running with scissors will eventually get it out the door too.

Wha? :hushed:

Yeah, the Super Metroid leak sounds wild too. Pretty much a Return of Samus style Remake. From what I’ve heard.

Would make the Metroid Prime 4 wait a lot more bearable. I don’t know why the fuck they even announced that game. What was that, two years ago now?

Development on the game hit a snag and they had to restart from snatch with Retro Studios back on it. We probably would have seen how the game looked by now if everything went according to plan.

well, some of the comments in that aforementioned thread earlier gave me some hope… this one was spot on:

The always online shared world isn’t to protect your leaderboard score, to keep out bots and hackers. It’s to use other players in your world to advertise their latest cosmetic acquisition. That’s why they don’t want an offline mode. There’s no money it. I’ve heard them say longevity a lot. Longevity = player retention = recurrent spending.

So many have been easily fooled into believing it’s to combat cheating/hacks (really; I’m doubting they even halfway give a shit about any of that), but the real reason comes right down to the money. The industry can squeeze way more money out of us (for as little effort as possible) when gaming is reduced to a “service” as opposed to being the “product” it once was. They don’t even want us to have the option of playing offline, because then we wouldn’t see all the latest little extras in the game you can get for “just $3.99…” or whatever.

ah, and another good one:
The MMORPG virus has infected everything. What started as a chatroom game for lonely geeks has become a multi billion dollar online dystopia. People have been frog boiled into thinking it’s acceptable, even desirable, for it to be the only way to play games.
^ :+1:

Yeah the restart of production sucks. I wonder what that was even about. At least it seems like they want to just wait and make a quality product tho.

Super Metroid in the style of the 3Ds Remake?

I’d like a Metroid Fusion remake down the line, underrated title. I like how it was borderline survival horror whenever SA-X showed up

I wouldn’t call a Nintendo going out of their way to make a presentation stating that NamcoBandai shit the bed so they’re handing it over to another studio to start again from square one a “snag”.

Retro will do great though. I want the Prime Trilogy HD and/or Super Metroid rumors to be true. I never got to play the Prime Trilogy so I’d be excited to try it on the switch. I’d be willing to try Super Metroid again with new mechanics and some things reworked too.

@Million-X Haha man I said they’d never have an offline mode almost exclusively because of MTX a few weeks ago.

Honestly the only reason the game isn’t F2P while copying PoEs business model down to the dot is because they KNOW millions of people will pay full price for the game and 40 bucks per expansion on top of MTX. They’re going to print money, and I can see it outselling D3s launch easily being multi platform off the bat.

This game and GTA are juggernaut franchises that break records with each release. GTA5 is one of the best selling games ever right ? GTA6 will take that crown.

So it seems that wwe2k20 it is in.a so bad state, that people ate leaving the studio behind it and thet 2k and wwe relationship is so damaged that it could be the end of the series, lol.

Suposedly no one is working on it right now, so no one should be expecting any kind of patch.

Knee aka the korean Daigo of Tekken goes to Pakistan to train and he gets a next level welcome to the country.

Pakistan players have seemingly come out of nowhere these past few months and they’ve shaken up the competitive Tekken scene. It’s great. @Dangerous_J

I basically spammed flip kicks with Law all the way up to t6 and tag 2. I learned super basic combos in those games, but Tekken7 is the only one where I’ve started to take the time to learn the mechanics and man, its super rewarding and I’m having a blast playing the game. SF has been disappointing to me for two generations now, but Tekken has filled that void.

I wish FEXL was more popular, that game is my favourite fighter this gen next to T7.

Dude. These Pakistanis are killing it with Akuma. Shitting on Korean legends that we’ve known and loved for years. Shit is wild.

Knee is a smart dude.

Chikurin went over there and Super Akouma recently too. These guys sit and play first to tens for hours on end. They don’t cry about matchups or “broken” characters. They play to have fun and to get better and to learn. Respeckk

Fiending for tekken Ive been playing t6 a bit on psp(one of the best ports I’ve ever seen, its 1:1 the PS3 version in gameplay and content. The graphics are toned down but that’s it) and I even reinstalled t7 on ps4.

The graphics on PS4 compared to PC is fucking insane. The textures don’t even look the same. SFV as well.

It’s weird theres such a huge difference in graphics in these games, especially when you factor in the fact that they’re 1v1 fighters. They could have made them look better I imagine, especially when you compare those console releases to games like remake 2 and dmcv.

"Competitive YuGiOh players have been given a literal breath of fresh air, thanks to new rules mandating anyone in a competitive game not reek.

The latest edition of official tournament rules for the anime-based trading card game includes a new subsection addressing basic hygiene as part of tournament guidelines."

Smash tournaments need this rule set

I pressume that they decided to play safe.
Add that iirc, it was their 1st venture with UE4 on new consoles.
I bet that if they wanted they could refine the graphics, but probably dont see it as something worth the time.
