Has anyone just strolled into Best Buy and got Shenmue 3 with a steelbook in the US without preordering?

yāknow, random dream game just popped into mindā¦ if there was a game where you were a pizza delivery person, and it had over-the-top style like Crazy Taxi, where youāre doing crazy ramp jumps and blasting thru neighborhoods at 100+ mph, getting bonus points/,money for āstuntsā AND getting people their food delivered on timeā¦ Iād buy that shit day 1, man. The more I think about this, the more I want it.

You can order Shenmue 3 from their dotcom store/app and iirc it comes with the Steel Book when it ships/when you pick it up at your local store.

I just checked the app. It comes with steel book case when you order it. Iām sure supply may vary so just call your local store first

My wife has purchased from Etsy, and I havenāt heard of any complaints about it. Iād say itās legit.

Itās a listing service rather than a store like eBay or Amazon, the difference is Etsy is for mostly hand made or home made items by small time businesses. Look at the feedback scores and and their lead times for production. Some sellers stock up on items and others make their items to order.

Iāve bought from Etsy Several times. Depending on the item the turnover time will vary. They usually tell you within the description of their shop or as youāre checking out of their shop how long itāll be.
I have 0 complaints about Etsy.

Yes. My Bestbuy has a bunch of steel books on the shelf for sale. Itās just the steel book tho. No game.
Think Iāll probably get one.

I saw the steelbook(no game) first on sale for $20 and then the regular case for $35.
Customer service let me buy the regular case version and gave me the steelbook for free thankfully.

So yeah Sparklite is a lot of fun. I have put in like 5 hours probably and I have only beaten 3 of the 5 titans. I donāt know if it will have longevity like Dead Cells does and itās a bit different in that you donāt have to keep defeating bosses once you beat them. But once you beat them it gives you an item that allows you to access the next area. And all of the earlier areas still have things you can do that you couldnāt access before. Itās an interesting game for sure and Iām having fun with it.
btw, remember the my little pony fighter from many years back? its out right now, early access on steam under a new title, them fightin herds. for i think $15
btw, i watching some death stranding reviews, in one review the reviewer compares the main character to Sisyphus. the man always trying to push a rock up a hill forever.
he said that because he thought that Sam was always pushing forward through all the darkness and negative things happening around him. its an interesting analogy. but we will never know if kojima had Sisyphus in mind.
