Video Game General 6.5: Now with more surprise mechanics

Razors edge got a ps3 and 360 release with all of the dlc content on the disc.

If you like Ninja Gaiden 2/Sigma 2 you will like razors edge because the core gameplay is very similar to the last game. Most of the bosses are terrible though.

Momji was added to DoA 6 last season. Besides Rachel has an awesome agile power grappler style. I am personally excited to see how they fleshed out her move set relative to DoA 5.

I don’t get why the hell are Momiji and Rachel DLC while Ayane is base whereas in DOA5 all three girls were in the base roster

What the fuck team ninja

Actually, the base version of DoA 5 did not come with them either. Momji and Rachel were added in the Ultimate release. Here is a character select screenshot from the base version:

well…as I was going for the Iceborne expansion…I noticed Code Vein is an even better sale— 40% off so it’s 36 bucks!! …and only 2 hours left on this sale though!!! They’re killin’ me heahhhhh…

I’m a cheapskate, not inclined to spend so much all at once…looks like Iceborne will have to wait once again. That sale only knocked $10 off…so not such a big loss in comparison, imo.

Me I want a Ninja Gaiden collection ala Uncharted collection on PS4 where all the games have been reworked with up to date gaming standards.

Rachel without her War Hammer feels wrong to me. Didn’t know Momiji was on DoA5. Is she in 6?

Yes, Momiji is in DOA6.

The PC is packing some impressive hardware for the price but I have a few issues with it.

I can’t seem to find any info on the motherboard that’s being used. If it’s an aftermarket board or a proprietary board. Can’t even seem to find the chipset that’s being used. Motherboard tends to be the component OEM like the skimp on.

I’m not feeling the case. If that’s a acrylic front panel than the fans will choke. Airflow a major thing for me with cases and I’m not seeing how that thing will breathe.

The specs are good. It’s better then what I have (8700K, and 1080 GTX) which has been able to play everything I’ve played at 1080p. It’s at least a $200 mark up but I’d have to check the price but the real issue is it doesn’t mention what motherboard it comes with. It’ll work fine but if you want extra USB ports, expansion slots, ect, it might not have any.

Iirc, momiji and rachel were added until the 1st revision, i dont remember if they were dlc, but they were not part of the base roster.

Also Ayane has been a main char on Doa since 2.
In NG she was mostly a cameo until NG3

thanks for the help everyone! it looks like the motherboard is a con going by the customer reviews but i might be willing to deal ill think on it some more.

I would say so. It’s a solid package on its own. However, the big issue with the game (for me) is the lack of a NG+ mode. It’s worth $60, but it’d be a better buy at 45 ish.

For an all in one it is a good deal. You can buy a mobo and a new case to put it all in, but at that point you might be better off putting together your own rig.

1400 would get you a better custom built Pc in every single aspect outside of the beefy 2080 card in that one, and even then if you increase your budget a little bit or if you have other parts lying around like a case or power supply you can definitely build your own rig that would smoke that one.

thanks a lot you guys are really great! the best buy app had an limited time early black friday price sale so i got a little antsy which i guess is the point but i think ill hold off and see what else pops up or if one of those custom pc sites have a sale.

My gripe is that many people simplify the reason why Kratos was an asshole, downplaying his complexity in the previous trilogy in an attempt to elevate the new game.

1400-1500 will literally build you a super computer these days man, especially if you’re patient and you take advantage of these black Friday and cyber Monday deals. You’ll have a rig that will have more powah than a PS5. :open_mouth:

I’m set with my current build I’m going for. I changed the SSD to an M.2 SSD which is slightly faster. It costs the same as the SSD I was looking at before, so that’s a win. I plan to slap the OS and steam on there, and I want to use my two current HDD’s exclusively for music and videos.

I might try streaming again, but my video card might hold me back a bit there.

M2 is more than slightly faster. Assuming the M2 your getting is NVMe.
