Well I was going to point out how his post actually doesn’t help his argument. Critics select the games for the game awards and the critical average for Death Stranding is a good. If the critical score was poor and it still was getting all these nominations it would back up what he is saying.

i trust user reviews a hellavalot more than professional critic reviews.
and not just in gaming. in every medium.
more honest.
less corrupt. less money under the table being passed around for positive reviews.
gamespot’s 10/10 tsk, pl-leaz. if that wasnt bought, idk what is.

I hope this is true. I’m not even a fan of RE but Capcom has doing an amazing job of getting back into long time fans good graces again. Monster Hunter, REmakes, DMC5, RE7. All bangers.

So if it is true this is just another great chapter in Capcom’s redemption arc.

and its not just game publishers buyin off game website critics you gotta worry about.
cuz pro critics are always warping their reviews over other motives like for example, political correctness. or may i remind you when Suda51’s Killer is Dead game, got bad reviews over the dating sim sections that were deemed politically incorrect therefore…“oh bad game. bad game” cuz pussy critics couldnt admit that the dating sim sections was, lets be honest, funny and just plain fun to do. cuz it was.

Your post assumes I trust critic reviews. I don’t though. I was pointing out that user reviews have zero to do with Death Stranding’s nominations. And user reviews aren’t what they used to be. Too much review boosting and review bombing going on for them to carry the weight that they used to.

Lamgrisser. I first heard about those games via their soundtracks some 10 years ago. It’ll be nice to finally be able to play some of them.

Back on Dragon Quest III. Finally came across monsters disguised as treasure chests. Those things do not eff around. At one point I went back into town with three coffins behind me.

you guys prob think i hate Death Stranding. but i dont. i think its soundtrack is awesome. its graphics great. and some of its art design is really memorable. its story is convoluted but all his mgs stories are from what i gathered. its just all bogged down big time by its awful pacing. worst pacing ive ever seen in a story driven action adventure game. that part is why i know its just not well crafted. feels really unpolished in that regard. thats all.

The original cut of Bladerunner, the version they are reviewing is fucking garbage. They where right. It’s a trash film. Every cut after that version improves on it.

I hope Amazon’s attempt fails spectacularly as well…along with any other shit-ass company trying the same thing after that. Cloud or Stream-based gaming is the most disgusting horseshit that could possibly happen to this industry. The sad thing is that it’s probably an inevitable thing, mostly because younger generations are so short-sighted that they truly don’t care about owning anything, apparently…it seems like each new generation cares less and less, actually. When it comes to entertainment…and really, most things in life…the opinion of the minority simply doesn’t mean shit. streaming would be fine if say i am a ps plus user and buying any digital game allows me to download said game and stream it on tablets etc. problem is who’s paying for all that shit! i need a ps now sub which cost money a separate plan for whatever im streaming it to which also cost money and likely has a data cap plus the lag that comes into play if im not playing a jrpg or something.
