Video Game General 6.5: Now with more surprise mechanics

The memea for Mai not being im Ultimate are freaking hilarious.

My nephew loves Terry and has played some Garou: Mark of the Wolves months before Terry was announced and he really likes that game.

Speaking of Fatal Fury, how are the Real Bout games? I’ve never played any of them, only FF, FF2 FFS and FF3.

Real Bout Special is the only one that matters, imo.

Real Bout 1 has the funniest Ring Outs and coolest stage transitions in all of fighting games.

Real Bout Special has the most polished gameplay and balance of the SNK fighters.

Real Bout 2 has some nice stages, a Kung Fu girl with Dan-tier hadokens, and a new boxer character (so good he is broken). A lot of cut corners though.

Real Bout series is pretty much SNK’s answer to Street Fighter Alpha. And they’re :fire::fire:. Special is my favorite of the 3, seems the most complete

I just played through the Pit of Heresy dungeon in Destiny 2. Man, having come back after about a year-long break with the game, I gotta say Destiny finally feels like it did back in the Taken King and Rise of Iron eras. I’m having a blast with it again. I still want to do the raid, but it’s tough to find enough people playing at the same time to coordinate a fire team of 6. Anyone still playing it here, or anyone who wants to start, hit me up!

The Real Bout games all sound special in one way or another. One thing I’ve noticed is that they all have a very noticeable visual jump in quality over the first 3 games.

…GUFFAW!

WOW. I still have no interest in seeing the movie, but that is a major come-up design-wise.

I hate that I love it but I still hate it.

Yeah, there is a a lot to like but it still feels like a lot to hate in how cliche it is.

I won’t go see it on my own but if my nephew wants me to take him, I won’t say yes and never follow up.

My son loves sonic, he already saw the trailer. Got my excuse to go see it. :joy:

My nephew wanted to watch this even with the nightmare design. Now I won’t mind throwing money at it.

I’m genuinely surprised at this trailer. I can’t tell if its just the design but but I feel his demeanor and expressions are even more Sonic like. They made it look decent which is crazy. I actually kinda smiled a bit at the trailer. I wouldn’t be opposed to seeing it in theater even though I won’t be able too.

Why wasn’t that ALWAYS the design? All that time and money wasted redoing what should be so simple, smh.

I smiled throughout the trailer. Probably all that Sonic nostalgia, but it felt and looked good.

Jim is still gonna overshadow everything in that movie though lol.
