Because Hilde is the only good thing about Soul Calibur IV. Otherwise it is garbage. It needed more balance patches, though Broken Destiny picked up some of the slack.

Welp, not touching Soul Calibur VI ever again. Made sure to uninstall it off my PC with the quickness after I watched the Hilde character announcement.
Hilde, iirc; is single-handedly responsible for ruining a Evo top 8 back in the SCIV days.
You donât think thatâs a bit of an overreaction? Even if they release her broken again theyâll probably nerf her anyway cause they have been intent on balancing it seems. I donât think itâs something to worry about lol

And even then, she was only a problem in certain stages on SC4, since they were small enough to allow her do her ring out combo.

Sounds like some scrubbery canât figure out how to deal with Hilde. She didnât ruin top 8, no one being able to topple her shinangans is on them. Same for those Bayo whiners a few years ago and everyone who cried about top 8 Chuns.

The finalist in Sm4sh getting basically booed off the stage for Bayo mirror was legit tho. I was there in person watching it.
