I had no issues with running out of ammo in RE2 remake. I only played the main story with Leon though.
Oh and the one who is scared of survival horror. You should play RE7 on PSVR. It’s not scary. At all. I promise.

Im conflicted on Last of Us.
The graphics/music/voice acting/characterization/story is all top notch. 9/10 for those.
The actual game play seems a bit subdued in that in the first few hours seem like youre merely pushing the analog stick passively.
The crafting , shooting seems a bit simple and a bit lacking in depth. This is coming from a casual scrub. Some puzzles get a repetitive (water!)
Gameplay 6/10 and averaged with the above presentation (9/10) - 7.5/10.
I think their is Uncharted series better , with 2/3 being the best imo.

I found the shooting in the little bit of TLOU I played past the intro to be really weird feeling and I didn’t really like it. I played the bit I did to help my mother with a spot she was stuck on. She played the rest of the game and came away disliking the shooting mechanics as well. She also seemed to prefer the Uncharted series as a whole as well.
I’ve only played the intro and that one part i did for my mother. The intro felt like a good set up but it didn’t make me cry or anything. Think I went to bed and then just never played it again. Might try it out again since it’s free on PSN right now. Have to pull myself away from Astral Chain, MHW and RCG first.
I like UC2 and 4 best myself.

Shooting is servicable so far in Last of Us, everything seems to work as it should. But I was pretty much expecting an experience more than a super in-depth game.

Well, in TLOU stealth kills are encouraged more than coming out guns ablazing (especially in higher difficulties) except that I kinda suck at stealth so whenever I’m stalking some motherfucker, this other jackass spots me and I have to light shit up. Especially annoying when those goddamn Clickers are around.
The ending of TLOU is one of the best in recent memory. Makes you ponder the choices that were made and makes for good debate material.

If I have one knock against it so far its the relatively stupid A.I, companion and enemies alike. Companions sometimes get in your way too
Companions literally run right past enemies but the enemy kept walkin like nothing was goin on. But soon as I moved, mfer emptied a whole clip on my ass. Maybe thats a once or twice glitch tho😂
Man, I suck at stealth, i usually get the end of a section and get spotted by the last guy or 2 then have to shoot it out
Thankfully Ellie isn’t a dumb bitch like Natasha (Golden Eye) or Ashley (RE4) . So you don’t have to protect her from herself doing dumb shit she shouldn’t be doing. She’s useless outside of some few instances but she’s not exactly a hinderance. Similar to Elena in Uncharted
As for the Enemy AI: the clickers are the only ones that you really need to worry about
My understanding is the enemies don’t “see” the companions.

And yes, TLoU demonstrates that having zombies in a game doesn’t automatically make it survival horror. It’s more an action game set in the backdrop of a zombie apocalypse (same way that the Walking Dead isn’t a horror show as it is a human drama in the same kind of setting).

people all ready pointed out that the last of us story is why its held in high regard and the gameplay makes sense in the context of the story but it really does play like uncharted if drake coudn’t jump,climb shit, and was half as fast.
