Sadly, a lot of sequels this gen disappointed (Bamco 
), but I have a feeling that Samurai Shodown and Psychonauts 2 will be interesting. Next gen holds no promise to me.

Genesis/MD Mini is looking even more awesome with the second round of announcements. The only setback, so far, was the Japan release getting M.U.S.H.A and it not showing up on this round of announcements for the U.S. and Euro release. Iām guessing they are saving it for the 3rd or 4th round of release announcements. The same thing happened with Sonic 2 however. It was announced the first round for Japan but announced in the second round for U.S. and Europe.
They did announce Contra Hard Corps, the two Mickey Mouse games Caste of Illusion and World of Illusion, Landstalker and Thunder Force 3.
Let me know if it gets the X-Men games, Beyond Oasis, and Boogerman.
This generation has been sort of a renaissance in gaming for me, and I favor it over last gen for some personal reasons. I quit drinking in 2013 and I latched onto video games as a lifeline to sanity. I enjoyed last gen, but I spent most of my time on SFIV and Wii, with a couple endeavors into GoW 3, RDR, and SSXā¦ and a few others.
But this gen, Iām on games every night! Destiny was my first foray into cooperative online gaming and that was a fuckinā game changer (hurr). I sank nearly 2000 hours into it.
DOOM 2016, HZD, GoW, Mario Odyssey, BotW, Spider-Man, Tropical Freeze, FUCKING SUPER MARIO MAKERā¦
I mean really, SMM came out this gen and that pretty much trumps anything put out any other gen. I had been waiting for that game for 30 god damn years.
But the one game to rule them all also came out this gen.
Iām talking the best game to release since Super Fucking Mario Bros 3.
And that game is Rocket League, the Greatest Video Game Ever Created.
So, yeah, this gen>last gen for me.

Agreed. If it wasnāt for this genās games and releases popping up, Iād be back on emulators playing old games. Where this gen, Iām playing old games with great (concerning M2 anyways) preservation and not having to worry if I dl a virus, and playing the new games which have been awesome.
Super Mario Maker and Breath of the Wild are new all-time classics.
This gen is also ending on a high note in its transition to next-gen. Last generation it was a toss up on what was going to happen.

Iām passing on this collection. Bloodlines is the only game there Iām interested in and thatās only because itās the one classic Castlevania game I havenāt played. Curious about the absence of Dracula x.

Was Belmontās revenge for a handheld? Iāve never even heard of it. Same with Kid Dracula.
The lack of Rondo of Blood makes me sad.

Who in the hell wanted kid Dracula? Rondo, Chronicles, Rebirth, even SNES Dracula X would have made more sense.
Did Raiden and Liu Kang use Potara Fusion!? 
Iām thinking they didnāt put Rondo on there cause they released it on PS4 last October with SoTN. Probably worried about cannibalization. But I agree, should have Rondo
