Keeping it real, Iām not a fan of all the gore nonsense either. Ask the SamSho people about them fanservice people, theyāre ran up the popularity poll for the SamSho character for the fanservice character.

Not very OG is a interesting character. Earthquake is OG and I could do without seeing his fatass. I typically play the big boy characters in fighters
As far as the big SamSho guys go, I was really hoping the demon dude who smashes you with his bone elbow.

This. Nieces and nephews are getting older and more into gaming, that one bought KOF 2002 for the Switch. Seeing SFV, they giggle (as I would in my early-almost-pre-teens) when seeing Cammy, Laura, R.Mika.
THEN I get questions from āboth sidesā about why women are wearing less clothing than men when it comes to VGs in generals. I kinda have to joke about it for now and deflect it, but next year I should be able to drop āItās because they are made for horny male teenagers and the people making them are still stuck in the stone age.ā

If they watch an MMA match, they arenāt asking my why āboobies and butt-cheeksā arenāt hanging out. They donāt flinch at older renaissance art, other than some giggles here and there. With VGs I get questions (and their parents do too), and we have to deflect for now.

on this. Most of the dudes fighting tooth nail for upskirts in their games are front and center perverts. Like I had to explain to dumb ass Sennin many years ago: its a part of the game that I accept because of the country of origin these games come from, but other people donāt have to accept it and that limits what I can do.
I canāt have a Mortal Kombat club at school either; got Sol saying damn and shit in Xrd too.
But its just one of those things. I zone out all the fanservice 99.99% of the time. Kidsā parents probably wonāt. On the plus side to SF5, my nieces love the game. More specifically, they both love Laura and Mika because they think theyāre really pretty. Similar situation where the fanservicey part of it kind of blanks out and they just like the fact that pretty girls are in the game.
Too bad we gotta deal with adult bullshit.

Iām just the Uncle and I do deflect to the parents. Never thought I would be THAT adult that did that. It does become harder since they are becoming more persistent, but I still play sorta-dumb. insert Larry David .gif
One cool memory I remember was watching the KOF XIV Team Mexico reveal and when Angelsās super was shown (the one where she smothers them in here boobs) they laughed while asking me āWhy is that guy drinking her milk, what the heck?ā So they are smarter for their ages but Iāll leave the rest for the parents.
Now that thereās like 1 and 1/2 years to this current gen before the inevitable cross-gen begins, did you enjoy this gen more or did you like the PS3/360 era over this one? For me personally I had more fun last-gen and I have more fonder memories of last-gen as well.
The main reason I liked last-gen over this one was that there were a SHITLOAD more games in my favorite genres.
Action genre: Ninja Gaiden Sigma, NGII/Sigma 2, NG3: Razorās Edge, NG: Yaiba which I barely played(lol) DMC4 and DmC, Bayo 1 & 2, Force Unleashed II(amazing action game. If you havenāt played it you should) Splatterhouse, 2 God of War games and a couple of other titles like that Ninja Blade game From Software made. This gen thereās not nearly as many titles in the genre. Thereās DMCV and two DMC re-releases(DmC: Definitive Edition and DMC4: Special Edition) Sekiro and Bayo 3 isnāt out yet. Nioh 2 will drop and then next-gen will hit before we see another Ninja Gaiden game or even a new GTA game which is crazy to me. 3 GTAās in the PS2 era not including the PSP games, 2 in the PS3 era, zero in the PS4 era. 
Racing games. Specifically arcade racers. The options we had last-gen in this genre was amazing. Midnight Club 3: LA, Burnout: Paradise, Blur, Split/Second, Wipeout and like every other Need for Speed was great. This gen? Wipeout re-release, Burnout: Paradise re-release and a bunch of games that are more racing sim than they are arcade racer like Project Cars and Forza.
FPS genre I think is doing better this gen in the single-player department(DOOM, Wolfenstein games, some Indie games on Steam that are bringing it back to the 90ās with titles like Ion Maiden, DUSK and Amid Evil.) Multiplayer I enjoyed more last-gen before it turned into the Battle Royale/CoD clone fest we have today. I loved the MP in Killzone 2, the Resistance games, Section 8: Prejudice and every Battlefield title. This gen I havenāt found a single FPS game to hook me, after I got the online trophies in the recent Battlefield titles Iād stop playing them online.
Fighting EX Layer > every last-gen and current FG though, so I like this gen more than last-gen when it comes to juan genre. Edit: The PSP and DS >> the Vita and 3DS as well as a whole.
TLDR: I liked last-gen more than this one and find it to have been better overall. Did you enjoy this gen more or last-gen? Why?

Biggest flaw this gen is the over abundance or āremasterā ports and the collections. We have gotten great games this gen but damn not many original stand outs.
