I never understood the excitement for Days Gone as the protagonist and plot seemed weak from the get go.
I do love myself some open world games if traveling is fun, there are interiors with personality, and there is a sense of being in a world with people worth killing and saving. A main plot without excessive filler is also a necessity.
I think a lot of it stemmed from when it debuted it more-or-less looked like it was going to be an open world The Last of Us. Which was exciting. But the more we saw of it the more we realized itās a pretty run of the mill open world that happens to have zombies and an overall very weak story.

I had my preorder on lock until I saw the last trailer for it that was released around a month ago. When I saw that I was just like ānawā went to amazon and cancelled it.
I would say not getting full combos is your reward I donāt see why you should be + for breaking a combo.

I fucking love open world design, but a lot of developers dont do it very well. Fromsoft does amazing work in this field, CDProject Red has it figured out and a few others.
I remember playing with something like that in the 90ās. As a matter of fact, one of my friendās most prized cap was that of Sonic Adventure Sonic. I am surprised they still make them!
Kiwami 2 is supposed to drop on PC next. PC is getting them somewhat in order. Dragon Engine with, Iām assuming, unlocked frame rate and resolution is going to be next level.
Iām hoping to hear about the 3-5 remasters coming West on the PS4. Iām hoping they donāt delay them here, in order to release them alongside PC. That would suckā¦
