Video Game General 6.4: New Halo? What else?

Bought BL1 GOTY online on XBox, and probably preordering BL3 next week sometime.

Goddammit.

PS4, here.

They should start having more control options for disabled games as far as controller options go. Adaptive controller from MS is a start. I donā€™t know why difficulty options should count, but here we areā€¦

My favorite lines in these discussions are the "Iā€™m locked out of the rest of my purchase, because of a difficulty spike."LMAO!

Yeah, having more options for disabled people is great, color blindness options, special controllers, etc. Itā€™s not anywhere near as simple as just difficulty being the problem, as shown by the vid I posted earlier of a quadriplegic beating a late game boss in Sekiro.

Haha good shit man. Everytime I boot up the PS4 to play Sekiro I see @Black_Jaguar playing PoE. :sunglasses:

Tec Slam Marauder ascended to a Jugg is what Iā€™ve been rocking for a few months. Itā€™s one of the stronger melee skills right now, until the next expansion in 2 months where theyā€™re focusing on buffing melee(this expansion buffed the hell out of caster builds and added a shitload of really good new skills to use.)

Once you fully ascend(go Juggernaut!)) get a Faster Attacks paired with your Leap Slam mobility skill the combat becomes insanely fast. No other ARPG comes close to the insane mobility you get in PoE, itā€™s even faster than teleporting around in Diablo II if you played that back in the day. I have a 0.07 attack time on my main skill and the animation when attacking becomes hilarious because of how fast it is. I have stacked crit with a lot of cold damage and when you crit an enemy with enough cold damage you chill/freeze them, and when they die they shatter into ice gibs. The sound effect is so goddamn satisfying man.

I wouldā€™ve never thought the faster attacks support would work on leap. Thatā€™s sounds dope. I was wondering how peeps were leaping around in videos like they were on drugs. My tec slam with ash buff is crazy. Added hatred and soon multistrike.

I kinda figured melee seemed weak. I wanted to do a shadow, but felt there was no point of it was just a spellcaster. See how those melee buffs turnout so I can make an actual Assassin.

Sorry, @radiantsilvergun3

Do they even have that many games to support that anyways?

there might be. I wouldnā€™t know, since Iā€™ve never had a Sega Saturn. Youā€™d have to get some of the capcom fighter stuff on there if they made it though, without question. And itā€™d be silly not to have the RAM Cart built in if they ended up going through with it.

Panzer Dragoon, Guardian Heroes, good versions of of the VS series games, and probably a bunch of other gems I know nothing about.

Oooh, OG nights too. Thereā€™s definitely a few bangers on it. heard the Sega Saturn Bomberman is lit.

Thatā€™s one of the big reasons the game is so damn awesome. All of the crazy combinations you can do with skills. Faster Attacks+Power Charge on Crit+Fortify+Leap Slam=top dog shit.

With the Hatred Aura youā€™ll want to combo it with a Herald of Purity aura. It gives you the most raw damage out of all the Herald skills. Your main Tec Slam setup should be Tec Slam/Melee Physical Damage/Elemental Damage with Attacks/Damage on Full Life/Maim/Multistrike for the highest deepz possible.

Right now casters are top dog. Shadows are strong, but Tricksters >> Assassin right now. Assassin is pretty damn fun but all his Ascendancy adds is a bunch of Crit but not much raw damage or survivability. I made one a while back and I stopped playing him because he just felt so damn squishy, though itā€™s super easy to hit the critical chance %% cap with them AKA having a 100% chance to crit.

^ Dumb video of how fast you are once you get decent gear+are ascended.

You canā€™t be posting in the Video Game thread of a forum and then say youā€™re too busy to read shit.

That doesnā€™t make any damn sense.

The first virtual on, Virtua Fighter, virtua cop, fighting vipers, Daytona,

if they could work in some kind of voodoo to where you could play the Saturn version of Bomberman online, that would be it for me. Iā€™d buy multiple versions of it.

It legit took me an hour and half to down that boss last night, and both my hands work fine. The dude in the video is a fucking boss.

The biggest hurdle a Saturn mini would have is the nostalgia factor isnā€™t huge. The Saturn didnā€™t have a long life in North America.

Thatā€™s not unexpected honestly, Saturn Emulation is still a pain in the ass.

The Saturn has a huge library and there are well more then enough games to out on it to entice people. Shit you could probably sell a Saturn mini with just Panzer Dragoon Saga alone and a lot of people would scoop it.

I donā€™t think a Saturn mini is viable and affordable.

I like to think licensing would be a huge issue as well.

Possibly. Sega has a large enough library on the Saturn they could populate it with just their titles and have a bunch of bangers to entice people with. Saturn was when Sega was still dominating arcades and a lot of those ports run quite well on the Saturnā€¦mostlyā€¦they could leave Daytona USA off it heh. They would be losing out a lot on stuff like Capcom offerings tho for example and if I where Sega i would court them.

I think for the American market a Dreamcast mini would make more sense. A combo of the two would be ideal but thatā€™s pie in the sky dreaming.
