I like SF5, it aint set the world on fire, but hardly a shitty game after the AE update. And they are supporting the hell out of it with consistent content, most of which u can get with ingame currency (albeit u gotta grind a bit)
At this point, its more personal preference than an outright terrible title
Not everyone is interested in said bomb shells. Though I like Resident Evilâs story I donât care about the games (Iâve never been a survival horror fan.) . And Iâve never liked DMC (well, I take that back. I actually liked dMc. I know, I know. But get over it). I have no interest in Monster Hunter either. Mainly because I hate online play. Always have.
SFV is gross, honestly.
Though they have the license for mega man they arenât doing anything with it really except retreading old grounds. I havenât played 11 yet despite owning it but it comes off as more retreading.
There was a time that Capcom could do no wrong. But towards the end of the PS2 era and pretty much all of the PS3 era they shit the bed.
Same can be said for their handheld division. Yes we got the Phoenix Wright series but we also got a lot of duds. People liked MMZ, sure but a lot of people didnât. They got as much blood from the stone as they could from battle network as well. Which includes rebooting it twice.
Cancelling MML3 was another thing that pissed people off. Powered up for PSP was fine. MMX Maverick Hunter wasâŚuhhâŚan ambitious retelling of MMX. I donât think it was necessary though. Broadening Viles backstory was cool though. So I appreciated that.
Not using IPâs like dark stalkers, rival schools, power stone, barely using Strider and other amazing IPâs despite immense fan outcry and support for said IPâs.
Theyâre just tone def and donât really know how to read the room. They also have absurdly high expectations of a lot of their developers.
Sorry. I know this post is kinda incoherent and all over the place.
To be fair Stu, u hate everythingđ All those titles were dope tho, and MM11 was suprisingly good actually, which I didnt see coming. Stu you need to actually PLAY these games before u formulate an opinion lol
Again, its preference at this point. Their current gen games work mechanically speaking whether ppl like em or not. Im not a fan of the Souls games BUT they are mechanically sound, just not my cup of tea
No, Iâm telling you thatâs what it is. You donât have to use MP and solo play is a ton of fun. You arenât really missing out on much if you donât like MP. Not trying to make you try the game, just saying the MP aspect of it is not an issue.
I mean thatâs your opinion but MHW online play has been virtually amazing!!
And you can solo the game with the right build and gear, save for 3 monsters.
not true. Iâm just very dismissive or lack interest in most things. I rarely get worked up or excited over anything. I donât feel itâs necessary these days. Not going to put my energy into something that can ultimately and likely be disappointing.
glad to hear mm11 is good. The double gear system just seems like a dumb gimmick to me.
Iâve played past RE and DMCâs. Not my thing. So why would I want to play newer iterations of them? And I never said any of them were bad. I just didnât like or didnât care about them. Again. Huge difference.
I donât think we can really call it UE3 anymore with how much theyâve done to the engine (remember, UE3 had trouble doing 60fps). Theyâre probably approaching the point where itâs as different ftom UE3 as GoldSrc (aka the Half-Life engine) was from the Quake engine.
