Video Game General 6.4: New Halo? What else?

So, you’re agreeing with him.

Huh?

Where do you get that from?

He agreed with me on my original point, except he stated he thought some look okay.

I would like to know what the ones that look okay are.

I think if you are in a standing animation, then, barring an overhead, you ought to hit mid or high.

This warms my cold, dead heart.

He’s not disagreeing with that from a balance or design or “game health” perspective. His original comment was focused on the move hitting how it visually looks it should hit is all.

The example he was upset about (rightly), was not merely the character’s only visually low move that hit confirmed, but literally her only low move that hit confirmed… but didn’t hit low.

If you hit a button while crouching, you ought to hit low; same with if you are standing you ought to hit mid or high, barring a command normal overhead.

The best part is that it’s super cancel-able. So if you get hit by it, you’re likely eating 2 or even 3 chained supers.

Anyway, here’s Kairi’s.

EDIT: The best part is how it puts you in proximity guard for quite a fair bit before it hits

I know, but he did perfect it, in the same way Andy Williams perfected Moon River. I always compare to the best version of a song as opposed to the original.

For example, if I were to compare a rendition of Don’t Think Twice It’s Alright I would compare it to Elvis’s cover as opposed to Bob Dylan’s original piece as Elvis’s take is perfection.

Neither of those versions are the best versions of those songs imo so I can’t agree with you even slightly. Brenda Lee’s version of Fly Me to the Moon dumps all over Frank Senatra’s version.

Everyone just sucks Frank’s dick cuz that’s the thing to do.

Anyway if your gonna only compare to the “best version” instead of the actual original version by the actual artist who created it then don’t claim someone took a hot dump on a fucking cover for doing their cover of the same damn song.

Hold UP! Ya’ll cannot be talking about 3rd Strike beats without me. That soundtrack is FIYA! I wish we could have gotten some 3S tracks in Ultimate. Seriously, Smashing to Jazzy NCY '99 would have been so dope.

Also another 3S fav of mine. China Vox is also pretty good, IMO.

I’m seriously considering not picking up Borderlands 3 on PC. It’ll depend on what the co-op options are for consoles as to whether or not I get it.

Speaking of Bayonetta

I have a strong feeling that SF5 is getting Dan today.

“Joke” reveal but actual character. Kind of like Fukua in skullgirls but intentional.

Bayonetta 1 is still to this day, the most technical and complete 3D action game I’ve ever played. Never played 2, but if it’s even half as good as 1 it’s already a classic. I love DMC and just bought 5 which I’m really enjoying but Bayo man… I loved the music from that game too, they did a really amazing job with it. It totally keeps with the vibe of the game.

It helps that there’s nothing as wtf broken in 3s as Divekick Deity Akuma or Mash-Jab-And-Win Ibuki.

More like April 1st.
