Oh yea, forgot about that. I think most people picked the FADC mechanic though, since it offered more freedom than SF4’s implementation.
Every Vlad player I played and most Edge mains used the burst.

This condescending shit I would expect from AAA money drunk devs that go exclusive to Epic Store after telling their fanbase they will initially sell on Steam, Xbox, and Windows store…but from a small dev?
All of a sudden they let their ego soar once Epic tossed monies at them.

It’s not just Epic tossing money at them though, these devs do have a stake in seeing Epic grow, since they take a smaller cut of their profits than Valve does.
How does being dipshits to your community and backers achieve that? The devs of Ooblets and Mech Warrior 5 are using the financial security of their Epic deals to give the middle finger to their supporters.

Wasn’t excusing them for it. Just giving one of the reasons a lot of these devs are okay with going exclusive to Epic.

I know why an indie would want to take epic’s deal. It’s a fantastic deal for them. Pull your best Activision impression once you get it is not a good look.

Just finished reading their announcment and aside from still not knowing wtf Ooblets is, their response seems perfectly fine.
What are people loosing their heads over? Its even still coming to all announced platforms…

sheeeeiiiit, I just beat Timekeeper without taking damage…I wasn’t going for that but it just kinda worked out that way…ha, I don’t think that’s ever happened before. I happen to be extra strong at the moment with 21 points in Tactics, due to 3 or 4 cursed chests I’ve taken along the way…and a challenge room. Yeah, I will be addicted to this game forever, most likely.

The condescending way they chose to announce their epic store exclusivity. There post was not fine. It’s full of false equivalency and weak arguments. Not help that they are completely dismissive of their supporters on their discord about the whole thing.

I dont really care if it is the more logical and financially viable decision, even if the studio is a start up indie dev, if you are a EPIC store exclusive, I am not buying your product.
