PS4, Nintendo and PC have been killing it!!

Nintendo gets double props from me for actually getting me to buy the system!!

As a publisher, Capcom has been dropping back to back to back hits.

RE: 2 Remake, DMCV, and pretty soon Iceborne DLC for MHW.

The only thing Capcom consistantly fucks up is their “packs” that only have one fucking game on the cart.

So I’m checking out the eShop to see what’s new and I see that DOOM and DOOM II are up there for chump change! I never really got to play much of DOOM and I’ve never played DOOM II. Classic DOOM on the Switch? Please and thank you! BOUGHT with the quickness.

I can already hear people crying for The Hero to get nerfed in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Insane recovery, crits , crazy magic and more. I work tonight so I’ll check him out after I’m done.

Unlike Nintendo or even Sony when the 360 was smoking the PS3 initially, MS doesn’t have to stones post sales numbers when they are getting curb stomped. The PS4 has outsold the XB1 more than 2 to 1. The only region where it is close is North America. The Switch is about the pass the XB1 and it has been out for less than 2 and half years.

I’m not a fan but it feels like Gears ran out of stream after the third game. Judgment and Gears 4 didn’t make any impact.

Judgment was pretty trash. It made a lot of backwards design decisions that flew in the face of established “Gears norms”, I guess.

4 ain’t a bad game at all in my honest opinion, but it plays everything wayyyyy too safe. Felt like it took more away from the series than it added. Campaign was still good tho.

I don’t even wanna talk about Halo 5. That game hurt my feelings.

Gears lost me at 2 and with its over wrought melodrama. But i get why peoole like those games.

2 is probably my second favorite. After the second game I think there’s a certain campiness the series does a good job of holding on to without being obnoxious.

3 is still the peak of the series imo, to the point where I still boot it up from time to time.

Speaking of which, the Gears 5 beta is up on game pass right now and I just got it for a dollar… Might give that a shot.

I’m actually pleasantly surprised the Doom Trilogy is more than reasonably priced. I guess you can’t charge too much for something that can run on a calculator or a smart fridge.

Shame they don’t have bundle deal to get all three of them at a discount.
