The ending was great as it was a definitive end to the āMighty Morphināā era (though Tommy and Adam came back for a few of the future iterations like DinoThunder and I wanna say MegaForce, respectively.) Everything within āIn Spaceā leading up to finale is debatable when it comes to quality.
Though In retrospect I found it Zordon to be kind of an asshole. He could have stopped all the evil in the galaxy by sacrificing himself but refused to do it until it was literally the only option left.
Should have just done it in the first place and not sacrifice countless rangers before Rita and making teenagers fight his battles in general. Dick move Zordon.

If it was like Capcom x Tokusatsu stuff in general Iād be in. Kamen Rider has way more variation in character types across itās generations IMO. Plus then you still get super sentai, stuff like beetle borgs, samurai cyber squad, etc.
Not that a licensing nightmare of a game like that would ever come out in the states.

Yeah, Sentai , Go Busters, Kamen Rider. Thereās so many genres of Tokusatsu you could use.
But yeahā¦the logistics and traveling through the web of shit that would be licensing and distribution rights just arenāt worth it.

New systems would be coolest. Would be really neat to see them tie the transforming into a mechanic, like a Henshin system that augments your moves or abilities or something.

But yeah, I feel that even despite the fanbase slamming Disney - their buyout of the IP from Saban was definitely not as bad as people seem to think and still gave us some kickass seasons. All the three big eras of the Power Rangers (those being Saban, Disney, Neo Saban. Hasbro doesnāt count yet since they only have one series going) has their bad apples like Turbo, Wild Force, Operation Overdrive, Mystic Force, Megaforce
IMO the best PR series were Zeo, In Space, Time Force, Ninja Storm, Jungle Fury, Dino Thunder, SPD, RPM. Honorable mentions to Lost Galaxy (it did feel a bit like In Space 2.0) and Lightspeed Rescue (donāt fuck with Carter Grayson)

haha, Operation Overdrive still holds that title belt of āWorst TV Themeāā¦yes, not just bad in the category of Power Ranger showsā¦itās one of the worst things Iāve ever heard as an opener for a tv show just in general. Iād rank it even lower than the intro for english-dub version One Pieceā¦see, at least that silly ass rap intro for One Piece was so terrible it was funny. I still have it in my music collection, actually. Seriously, I cannot think of a tv theme that is worse than Overdrive.
