That maybe their end goal, build a Windows like platform with the Xbox brand where majority of consoles either have their services to play games or other applications. It means no more headaches like trying to sell in Japan.
But they can’t jump out instantly, abandoning the Xbox audience they do have would lead to those players being spiteful and not using their services.

Started SH2 this morning. Game seems like it will be cool. Everyone seems to have some kind of unique way of upgrading or getting better gear or skills. In the subway tunnels in Paris. Seems interesting so far.
sh2 is one of those games from that era where jrpg devs were having a contest to see how much content they could fit into a game. in some ways its a blessing in others a curse.

I did the same. I bought SH2 first, I liked it so that I decided to stop and play SH1 for completion sake. And so I bought on on ebay. Beat both games twice. Wrote a little guide with tips so if you ever get SH1 check these out:

Both take place in the same universe but they are loosely related. But no I didn’t play it.Well, I tried an emulator on PC but that shit was too slow so I watched (no battle) playthroughs on youtube

The voice acting and dialogue are so good. They should at least made a CGI movie of Koudelka. I even read some manga they made for it. I really like this crazy setting/universe they created for Koudelka/Shadow Hearts.
Some fans have been asking the creator of Shadow Hearts to make a SH collection for the current generation of consoles. He liked my tweet:

I wouldn’t call it loosely related as Shadows Hearts picks up after Koudelka bad ending.
i think the shadow hearts ip is in some really weird place. like the company that made it dissolved and got bought by a pachinko company or something. but hey wild arms might come back that’s something right.

never played SH, looks like something I’d enjoy if they released a collection. Unfortunately my work schedule might prevent me from ever beating any of them, took me bout 3 years to beat Persona 5

They way they get around the technical limitations preventing Shang Tsung from shape shifting into anyone was pretty cool. Sucks for Smoke, Reptile, Rain, and Ermac fans though.
