Whole lotta games. Nioh Complete $25.
Today marks the 20th anniversary of Super Smash Bros. USA release.
Still the best Smash commercial IMO.
I hope custom variants becomes allowed in MK11 at some point. The competitive preset for most of the characters is hot ass.
I got a feeling that outside of official NRS tournaments they will be.
Noob Saibot is actually not voiced by Frank
Donāt actually watch this if you havenāt played the story yet since you might get spoiled.
i think this weekendās project is wild arms 5 i gotta relax while i can im prob starting at viracon soon.
sheeeeit, I think Iām doing better in Cuphead now than when I was playing it on XB1ā¦ I suspect itās because due to it being portable nowā¦ I can play it a LOT more. such is the nature of portable gaming, and why I prefer itā¦ with a āregularā console youāre limited to the gaming time being at home in front of a television. Anyway, after the green dragon I fought that queen bee; this one didnāt take as many tries thoughā¦ so Iām on the 3rd island/zone now.
The mouse in the soup can is a surprisingly easy oneā¦first phase was never a problem; itās easy to dodge just about everything he does thereā¦2nd phase is tougher, then the 3rd phase is fairly easy again. Shortly after that I beat that woman (haha) with the umbrella you fight at a theaterā¦that one also isnāt too bad, especially compared to the green dragon or the queen bee. Man, this is one of the greatest games, manā¦it deserves to be remembered for many years to come as something truly specialā¦
It would be cool to see at least a couple of other famous franchises done with that old cartoon styleālike imagine a Super Mario Bros. done that wayā¦or even a Sonic game. Iād buy those immediately.
oooh, and whoever has the IP needs to bring Popeye back to the world of gaming tooā¦as a cartoon from that older era, it already fits perfectly since that is the visual style most fans remember for the Popeye characters.
That would be King Features Syndicate, the same company that owned the IP since 1929.
Although Turner Entertainment/ Warner Bros has the rights to the animation.
Thereās a Wario game, Wario Landās Shake it on the Wii with that type of animation. I still need to pick it up. Iāll probably go digital on it before it gets taken down.
Beat Monster Boy and The Cursed Kingdom. I want to start a new game, but Iām going to let this one simmer a bit. Game was dope as fuck, and next playthrough wonāt have a long break from when I started it, to when I picked it up again. I really hope we get Monster World IV on the Genesis Mini.
forget Shaggy ā¦ put Popeye as a guest character in MK11 lessgo
So some Retro wins, I finally got the Chronotrigger MSU-1 hack working.
Took me too long to get all the Flac files, convert them into a format the MSU-1 wants and get working.
But I sware the MSU-1 hack of Chronotrigger is the definitive version
So, I just watched a bunch of Death Stranding shit. While I dont understand whats going on it looks pretty fuckinā dope. I dont have a PS4 so I wont get to play it but Iāll definitely watch a play through of it on YouTube or wherever.
Literally No one fucking does. Probably not even Kojima. Heās likely Kingdom Hearting this shit to make it as convulsed as possible.
Shit still looked dope.
Speaking of Panzer Dragoon. The GDC 2019 talk was put up a week ago
Havenāt watched it yet, but from some comments about it from people who HAVE seen this, Yukio Futatsugi, alludes but wontā flat out say that he knows someone with the source code.
Nowadays you donāt need it though, but thatās been the excuse for not revisiting it. I just need Gun Valkyrie announced (R.I.P Smilebit ) and Iāll be grabbing a 1X to play it, NG: Black and Panzer Dragoon Orta in 4K.
EDIT: Thinking about starting up Hollow Knight, but going from awesome Saturday Morning Cartoon Vibe to Depressing Douchebag Indie Vibe might be too much for now.
I never said it didnāt. Itās absolutely going to be one of those ācinematicā video games where the cutscenes heavily Outweigh the actual gameplay though
There was talk about it at a film festival with Hideo Kojima and Norman Reedus (the main actor in it) at the Tribeca Film Festival the other day. When asked about a PC port they sorta dodged the question. So itāll happen at some point Iām sure.
Iām excited for it. Sounds like he has the enthusiasm for it like he did the Metal Gear games that came before MGS 4.
Took a break from Sekiro for like a week, but I played a bit earlier and took out the boss who was giving me trouble(Owl.) I watched some random Youtube video and employed cheese tactics. Fuck that boss.
Imma dive back in after I eat. While not playing Sekiro I finished Metro: 2033 and its sequel Metro: Last Light. I still think Exodus is the best, followed by Last Light and 2033. The cool thing is that all of the DLC for Last Light is bundled with the Redux release and I knocked some of those out before I swapped back to Sekiro.
GOTY so far is DMCV. That game is amazing. The animations alone are a sight to behold and the amount of options and batshit things you can do with the combat system is so much fun. Iām looking forward to a bunch of games this year, mainly DOOM, girl power Wolfenstein, RAGE 2 and Bloodstained but theyād have to blow me away to take the crown from DMCV as my GOTY. I saw some cool .gifs of the game a few days ago that I wanted to post but I canāt find 'em now.
99.9% sure Sony is funding the game so I canāt see that happening.
Sony doesnāt think PC is competition so itās not out of the question. David Cage trash āgamesā are coming to PC this year as Epic Store exclusives
Very much agree. They really knocked this one out of the park and the only bad thing I can really say about it is that Vergil isnāt a playable character, which, when you consider how great all the playable characters in the game are already, isnāt really that big of a complaint. Game is fun af!
