Video Game General 6.3: Sekiro has so many damn chickens man. Chickens Everywhere!

Playing on steam is better anyway, you can set your library private.

If anything it’d be Mega Man 9. Mega Man 2 is the Sonic CD of the franchise, aka overrated.

:kappa:

Not really because Megaman 2 is good an helped people it’s up to franchise hood, Sonic CD is a bad game held high by hipsters and did fuck all for Sonics rep positive or negative.

I was mostly joking, hence the kappa, though I do feel Mega Man 2 is overrated by some.

It is a bit when we take the entire series into account. Most classic Megaman games have at least 1 big flaw.

SEGA is looking at simultaneous worldwide releases, going forward.

That’s the thread linking to the PDF talking about it. At first I’m thinking ā€œCool, Shin Yakuza and Project Judge are coming out day and date!ā€. The real deal in that is they have the Souten no Ken/Fist of the Blue Sky license. Early 1900s Shanghai in the Dragon Engine? GIVE IT TO ME NOW!

MM2’s biggest flaw is also its greatest strength, though: the Metal Blade.

Shoutouts to Air Man, for the Air Shooter being the best weapon for at least THREE other bosses, per practical application.

I still like MM3 more than MM2.

Bullshit on Sony’s end…especially if the price is the same as steam’s.

Why pay same for less?

I still have yet to use a shield in Dead Cells, maybe I should give it a try.

My problem is I seem to really have no problems with the levels for the most part (unless I just get a shitty weapon to start with) but it’s the bosses. I can beat the Concierge with basically anything now no problems. The Time Keeper it depends which tactics I have, I need some kind of turret that is good to beat the Time Keeper, and then I’ve only gotten to the final boss twice and got like 75% health gone both times. I have died a couple times on the last level too though when I faced the elites together to unlock the one key. But I’m still grinding to upgrade the forge and other stuff.

So, I take it you have a CRT? I tried using the Zapper on an HD TV but as you know that shit doesn’t work.

That also reminds me that I still have cartridges for Tetris, Tecmo Bowl, and Contra lying around somewhere. I would probably dig them up, but I abhor that square piece of shit Nintendo called a controller. I think I will play one of those on the Wii or PC later today. Thanks for the reminder.

ā€œA few.ā€

Sega has a veritably unlimited gold mine of older IPs just waiting to be tapped into.

Gimmie a new E-Swat, Phantasy Star, Space Harrier, Altered Beast, and Alien Storm whilst you are at it.

Of the ones you named, a Three-quel to Golden Axe and Revenge of Death Adder would be HYPE.

And for the love of god, please make the final version of Streets of Rage 4 not suck.

You have to give them some time now with recent decisions the company has been making and with Yakuza gaining popularity in the west. If SoR 4 is good and sales are really well on it then this could restore even more confidence in trying some other IPs. I think the floodgates opening could possibly hinge on the success of that game.

Herzog Zwei 2.

Remake is the way to go.

Fuck remasters.

Unless the game was from at least two generations ago, and nigh perfect in its original form (Okami), then it needs a remake, not a ā€œremasterā€/regurgitation.

RE2 Remake looks so fresh, and good, I am going to day one it.

And I never was interested enough in RE2, after playing part 1, to bother playing its original iteration.

RE2, Leifthrasir, SoR:R (yeah, Sega) - all of those are examples of doing it right.

New Altered Beast and Space Harrier would be fucking SO sick! And if they could somehow not fuck up a new Alex Kidd game I’d be happy to play that.

yeah, it’s a damn shame how many great IPs are effectively held hostage by That Company…forever collecting dust instead of making money. If it was truly new… a ā€œremakeā€ā€¦ I’d likely buy a new-era Phantasy Star, Altered Beast, E-SWAT, Space Harrier and all that stuff day 1. I realize there is absolutely no hope though. Even if hell froze over and they did, I’m 100% sure they’d find a way to somehow fuck it up in some unbelievably stupid way, so fuck it and fuck them. That Company fell out of favor with me a long time ago.

Dead Cells—yeah the bosses are the real hard part of the game, imo. So far I’ve only managed to beat Conjunctivitis 2 times…the 2nd one was just barely scraping by. Time Keeper and Concierge are much easier to handle, imo.
heh, I checked the time— I’m up to 50 hours played on this game so far.
