‘Hazelnut Bastille’ is looking like a really high quality imitation of ‘Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past’, I am definitely going to keep an eye on it from now on. Thanks for posting.

Not sure this is the attention you want for a system going into the holiday…
It IS a rumor though. I’d be down for more screen and less bezel though.
Nintendo will need a new version of the console just because the current version is compromised.
I saw that rumor and was going to post it. Mostly due to the fact that I believe this the second time something concerning this has popped up.
Monolith Soft is hiring for new rpg project
Not surprised. Hardware refreshes were a staple of their previous portables, and applying them to the Switch to keep interest up seems like a no brainer.
Finally.
Yeah, I am certain that Nindy wants to seal up any security holes like how Sony did with their products.
Most likely a Oled screen will come from Samsung or Sony as they provide parts to alot of manufacturers
^Interesting because you are actually the villian in this platformer
Capcom also streamed the claire demo for remake 2
Switch isn’t getting OLED.
Switch going OLED would be a bad idea with it’s current interface. It would be highly subjectable to burn in.
Do you guys find it useful to have 2 of the turret things in Dead Cells? I just faced the Concierge with 2 of em, one level 4+ and one level 5, and I barely had to even touch him with my melee weapon. Those turrets however did make my freeze melee weapon thing kind of useless though, when the turrets were out. However I didn’t really need it.
Skeleton crew at telltale reportedly being let go
Not surprising if true. The moment that lawsuit hit it was prob a wrap
i dont use turrets unless theyre heavy turrets. two heavy turrets are great. two of anything else, nope.
imo
first of all, its a female. not male.
second, all the bosses in dead cells are like bosses in other action games in that they have 3 phases.
in her 1st phase she does 1 sword swing, throws 1 ninja star, and follows with grapple hook.
2nd phase she does 2 sword swings, couple ninja stars, then grapple. maybe at some point she does a power full screen dash.
3rd phase she does 3 sword swings, throws multiple shuriken, and does grapple hook, followed by 2 power streaking dashes with swords falling down all over the stage.
if you have a shield you can parry everything she does. you can parry her sword strikes, her shuriken projectiles, and her grapple hook.
if you get caught by her grapple hook, right before she sword strikes while you are locked down you can toss a stun or ice grenade and delay her attack log enough to roll behind her. you can also pary her streaking dash attacks. but i recommended you just jump vertically to avoid if you arent good with parrying yet.
oh btw, flamethrower turret will absorb most of her attacks. have one between you and her to make it easy for you. if you want.
All I have seen is the slicer cutter turret thing I think, haven’t even seen the other turrets lol.
Hollow Knight
Made it to the Traitor Lord I think his name is, boss of The Queens Guarden. He’s tough. tried him a few times, feel i got a good strat and pattern down, but i feel like i need to up my damage. I found one of the ore needed to make my nail better, but havent found a second one yet.
sheeeeit, it seems I can’t resist the power of being a “glass cannon” in various games… and now I’ve been doing it lately in Dead Cells. There’s something thrilling about that concept—the extra risk (you take double damage) …in exchange for power.
You need to get some blueprints off of some elite monsters in different areas for the higher tier support items but I suggest you concentrate on getting the movement runes to reach other parts of the map. You end up missing scrolls of power, gold and item pick-ups that can give you an edge. My suggestion is to keep your equipment pool small by NOT unlocking blueprints such as Valmont’s Whip cuz it plain sucks and you can dump cells into other u nits such as Hokuto’s Bow or Death Orb when you get those blueprints. Other than that, keep upgrading the forge to improve starting equipment.
Turrets are great to start with if you still need to figure out patterns and hang back for a breather during a boss fight while the deployed units keep firing at them. Once you get your hands on the stronger units or support equipment, you won’t need to have 2 turrets anymore.
I’m on that playstyle myself and I really dig cursed sword ATM. It’s always edge-of-your-seat with that equipped since any hit will kill you outright but the damage… It’s sooo good!
