Stoped reading right there, there nothing wrong with the analog placement.
Xbox had to do their analogs different so they be more distinct from Playstation.
If anything the off axis of the Xbox controller analogs are uncomfortable.
So then you think that the face buttons on all controllers are in the wrong position too?
The 360 controller is regarded as one of the best controllers ever, I donāt think they were going for different. Hell the Dreamcast controller came out well before the Xbox controller did and that one had the analog in the same spot as the Xbox controller did. So did the Gamecube controller. It had nothing to do with ābeing differentā as you say. Itās because it makes sense ergonomically.
The SNES pad is fine with me. It used to be my favorite controller before the dual shock came along. Wii classic controller was the only pad I used for the Wii since it was a SNES pad with symmetrical analogs.
When it comes to retro pads I hate the NES. The rectangular shape of the controller is unconformable and it makes my palms hurt when playing for an extended period. I donāt like the 3 button Genesis pad.
Difference of opinion. Here is why I dislike the left analog placement on the DS. The d-pad was the primary method of input with the DS1. The left analog being in a secondary location made sense. Once the bulk of games went 3D, I found it asinine to have the primary input method, the left analog stick, in a secondary location. Some people donāt mind, I do. Itās why despise the DS2, DS3, and DS4. At least I could get a good 3rd party controller with the proper setup on PS3. I have to hold that L on PS4.
Yup that is exactly how I feel. On top of that, my thumbs can touch using Sony controllers if Iām using a game requiring dual analogs. It would happen all the time playing Super Stardust HD since you are constantly moving both analogs every which way.
The whole touchpad on the DS4 is just a huge was of space for the most part. Hardly anything even uses it. Just a stupid feature to build into the controller by default.
Hmm thatās cool about that CV collection. Now I might actually have to scoop it.
Iām pretty sure DMC5 is gonna be the last one Itsuno helms, I havenāt really been clamoring for a sequel to 4 because no one really seemed to want to do it, not even Itsuno and I didnāt want another 4. DMC5 is lookin dope, but DMC4 looked super dope to, so hereās hoping that Itsunoās heart is really in it.
The only cool touchpad stuff Iāve seen is with some VR stuff and those little white robots. I forget what that little game is called, but it had some cool stuff where you use the touchpad for various stuff.
